On or about 2/28/2024 I called before visiting this urgent care center to find out how much their services were going to cost. They quoted me $175 including steroid injection. I arrived and was seen by the doctor where I received a steroid injection and written prescriptions for an upper respiratory issue/infection. On my way out, I paid the $175 and went on my way. Today, 3/14/24, I received a text message from the urgent care center stating that I owe them an additional $80. I called in and talked to the billing manager who subsequently informed me that I had misunderstood and that I owe the $80. That's what I dispute! Most, if not, all doctor ******s display signage that payment for services is due at the time of services. It is my right to expect the doctor ****** to bill me for any and all services at the time of service so there's no "misunderstandings". This is a deceptive trade practice and will not be tolerated.

In response to your communication, I cannot provide specifics as there is no HIPAA release of information attached. I can however state that our pricing is as follows: Office visit $175.00 Steroid injection combination of methylprednisolone/dexamethasone $70.00, Administration of injection $10.00. It is our policy to quote only the office visit pricing of $175.00 at check in as the receptionists are not Medical Providers and do not know what testing or treatment each patient might need. We do inform patients that if there are any tests done or treatments given, there will be an additional charge for those services. We advise patients if they want a quote of pricing of additional services prior to receiving them, they should request a quote from the Medical Assistant before receiving the services. Patients are expected to pay for additional services upon check out. If they do not, they are sent a bill.

We do not advertise anywhere in print any of our services with pricing.
