      I went into to get 2 medium and 2 Lights coats and 1 skirt dry cleaned. I was not charged $83.18 (way more expensive than I have been charged in the past) for 4 heavy coats-But the $250 skirt had two large safety pins through it that caused damage. When I asked about the price increase, the representative joked thats business and when I called to ask about the skirt damage the manager said I know we poked a hole in the skirt with the pin but we had no hangers but nobody usually complains. The manager was dismissive and rude and laughed when I informed her that this is an expensive skirt that they damaged.She laughed when I informed her that I will be reporting everything to the BBB.This business is unethical and they prey on people who trust small businesses.

      This customer have been asked to bring the garment back to store for it to be reworked or redo with no charge, but customer declined that offer and instead she threatened to complain this with BBB organization which is what she has done here.

      This customer does not seem to have complains on service we have provided to her but rather the price charged for the service she has received from the business. There is really no solution to that problem. We have to charge for the service we provide. If customer does have issues with service we provide and have provided, we really can resolve on the service level. If the issues is at the price level, we really do not have any negotiations at that level because we are running our business at very thin margin because of ever increasing cost of materials and labor in this current market.

      I am rejecting this response because: the business admitted to wrongfully using a large safety pin on my skirt thus damaging it. My phone call to the business presents significant evidence of this detail.

      The original complaint again as indicated is not about the pricing- but about damages occurred to an expensive skirt due to the negligence and predatory behavior towards consumers supporting local businesses. I recommend that the business revise its ethics, customer service and meditate the wrongful and purposeful damage to my clothing. I request a refund and a full apology to the inappropriate conduct I witnessed on the phone and in person. I do not wish to come into the business again as I do not feel that it is a safe and welcoming environment.
