Never anyone to talk to! I am leaving this bank after 20 years of less than adequate service. There is NO real service agents, nor is there anyone who cares to help you. There's nobody to complain to, nobody to help, nobody's even interested in improving their level of customer support. Email or online account complaints and concerns go nowhere and any response you get is auto generated, without explanation, and likely generated by machine. No one really reads your messages or even cares. The only thing you can do as a resource is change banks. GO TO **** or any major bank. AVOID *** all together. They are Awful!!!!Note: Read the responses by "FCB" provides below. They are clearly AI generated responses. There are NO people at this bank. At least no one that cares to help you.

Absolutely horrible. All they tell you is lies and make your credit worst by running hard inquiries. The first time we were denied was income, we increased our income well above what they asked for and they denied us a second time on something totally different then what we were told the first time. Regardless they will will find a reason to deny you. All while hitting your credit lowering your score. We are a military family and they did nothing for us but make our situation worse. Do not trust them. Then all they want to do is sell you life insurance, add an expense to you.

I have been a client for over 30 years. One of my biggest regrets. I would tell any young officer not to walk away from this company, but run away fast. It seems like they prey on young military officers with their overpriced services and exaggerated opinions of the value they have. They seem to have forgotten that insurance is not an investment. If you are looking to invest, get a low expense Index ETF from Vanguard or ******. If you want insurance, get an appropriate policy with a term. A company that pushes both together is a scam.

Thank you for sharing and for your long-standing relationship with us, we take your feedback seriously. It's important that we address your concerns.

We value our clients' trust and strive to maintain high ethical standards. We apologize if your experience felt otherwise. We encourage you to reach out to our ****************** Team at ************ to discuss your experience further.

Regarding your comments on insurance, it is crucial to differentiate between insurance and investment. While insurance can help provide financial protection, investments aim to grow wealth. We offer a range of insurance solutions tailored to individual needs. ************** is ideal for temporary coverage, such as paying off a mortgage or funding education. Whole life insurance serves long-term needs like providing income to a surviving spouse or covering final expenses. Our thorough analysis ensures personalized recommendations our advisors provide clients in alignment with their financial plan. We take pride in coaching clients on their path to financial security.

I have been a First Command (FC) Client for eight years and I've had five advisors at various duty stations. My experience has been top-notch with all of them. The most value I have gained from them has been education about financial tools and products that have greatly helped me gain financial stability and a plan/path to financial freedom. I have heard the complaints from many other servicemembers. I can tell you that FC higher very carefully monitors the actions of their advisors and will dismiss the advisor if something unethical or illegal is happening. (***** can also penalize them) All the advisors are fiduciarily licensed and put the clients interests before their own. Nobody likes paying expensive whole life (WL) insurance premiums, except for those who love WL's benefits. It is the clients choice if they want to buy term, VUL, GUL, UL, WL, or none at all. ************** is a key factor in taking care of families (SGLI is not enough) and having financial stability. ************** is a product and should not be confused as an investment. Speaking of investments, First Command's fees are not the cheapest, but they have some of the best managed funds (top 20%) and satisfaction from clients. The real investment and payoff comes in your custom built financial plan that is executed by professionals and serviced as needed along the way by local financial coaches. The attention received from FC for military/veteran clients and family members are above and beyond what you will get from the big investment/life insurance companies. FC Bank also has some key small bank features that the big banks can't/won't offer their customers. The vast majority of Americans are ill-prepared for retirement. People love to scoff at fees and commissions, yet they do little to nothing to contribute to their retirement plan. Don't be dissuaded by negative reviews. If you are interested in financial peace and independence, then scheduled a meeting with an advisor and judge for yourself.

Wow only **** Characters? Signed up for their financial services thinking finally someone offering a great service to military, right? Wrong. They lie about all the truths of whole life insurance. Only care about closing on selling life insurance. I pulled all my money from everything that I could. Biggest mistake? Opening a UTMA for both of my kids. I stopped the monthly payments towards these accounts and have been fighting for MONTHS to get the money transferred to a reputable business and another UTMA. Everytime I try to transfer, they come up with another excuse as to why the forms were incorrect. Today I go into the ** Command Center to get the ticker symbol from their accounts, and notice one of my childs accounts is CLOSED and $1600 is MISSING. It isn't in any of the other accounts that are still open AND it's not in the bank that I've been attempting to transfer funds into. So now I'm ******. Their lucky its saturday and the scam artists are at home. Monday morning they're getting an ear full and if they wanna keep playing games, Army lawyers are free and I have nothing but time. An Amex HYSA has more possibility of a higher return than any accounts that ** says to invest in. And who tries to sell whole life insurance to 20 year olds? Like cmon, its 2023. The MOST we should get sold is a term life policy. And of course they financial advisors smile to your face and shake your hands. They're about as slimy as a dealership salesman, a vehicle extended warranty salesman, or the current administration. Save your time, money and mental health from dealing with these crooks.

I have been with First Command Financial Services for over 30 years. I honestly can tell anyone they're not very bright. It's they're c*** shoot and they have loaded the dice. Their main purpose is to sell life and health insurance policies, and they aren't very good at it either. I would go somewhere else if it was possible, but it's too late. You've been warned. Someone in my unit encouraged me to seek them out because of their reliable work ethic to the military service members. First Command is not very reliable to anyone but themselves and their Trusts based on my experiences and expectations. They couldn't even get me a sound life insurance policy without charging an additional fee to the premium. Plus, the life insurance company went bankrupt during some financial crisis. Another First Command Insurance Salesman tried to sell me a very expensive long term health care insurance coverage policy during a well known national health care crisis that's still some reason for debate. Does First Command sound like they're going to work harder for you and your family than any other national brand right now?

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We believe in putting our clients first and do not focus on the sale of life insurance or any specific type of financial product. Our Advisors offer products and services in the context of a comprehensive financial plan. For life insurance, our Advisors and employees study client needs, assets and any coverage already in place. If they find gaps in coverage, they will propose a solution. We are completely open and transparent about the expenses associated with the products and services we offer, and they are aligned with those assessed by other firms in our industry. One area where our expenses look very different from our competitors is financial planning. We waive financial planning fees for our active duty clients. Thats a valuable offering. Industry fees for a basic financial plan typically start at about $1,000 and may include continuing costs and renewals. We choose to waive these fees so that the cost of the financial plan is not an impediment to military families getting started as early as possible on their path to pursuing financial security. Our client-first approach to insurance is key to our commitment to follow the high ethical standards and best practices of the financial services industry.

I have been with First Command for over 6 years. I have had 2 advisors during that time and both have been knowledgeable. My current advisor *********************** has been great and a wealth of knowledge and advice. Couldn't be happier with the value I get from having them in my life.
