The issues outlined below not only reflect unprofessional and unethical customer service but also raise serious concerns regarding the violation of ***** regulations and the mishandling of Protected Health Information (PHI).On October ******* I assisted someone in scheduling an appointment with your center. Since he did not have a credit card available, I used my own card to secure the appointment, under the assurance that it was merely a hold and not a chargeable transaction. However, on January 14, 2025, I discovered an unauthorized charge of $99.00 on my credit card for S******* appointment. This transaction was conducted without my explicit authorization or any communication regarding a balance due, which is a clear violation of my financial privacy Moreover, during a phone call with your office on January 16, 2025, it was confirmed that insurance verification was not performed before S**appointment. This oversight is highly concerning, especially at the beginning of the year when insurance plans often reset, potentially affecting coverage and billing accuracy. Despite this lapse, S** was not informed of any financial responsibilities prior to the appointment, nor did he receive a billing statement thereafter. When we reached out to your billing department, we were met with dismissive and unprofessional conduct. *******, the Billing Manager, acknowledged the failure to verify insurance and stated it was merely a "courtesy" your center provides. This response is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the essential healthcare revenue cycle and patient care processes.Furthermore, the handling of PHI during our interactions was alarmingly negligent. At no point during our initial communications were any of the 18 identifiers of PHI utilized to confirm the identity of the patient, thus compromising confidentiality and violating ***** regulations. The later decision to refund the unauthorized charge only underscores the initial breach of protocol.

My company has a mental health program that covers 100% including incurred cost for any cancellations ECT. It's part of our program to prevent delays in treatment. My company recommended them because I could only do teleheath after getting into a severe car accident prior to treatment. I was seen once. With little context, ***** diagnosed me with ADHD which was alarming to me because I was mainly seeking help with PTSD after getting into a deadly crash. He talked most of the session, didn't actually assess me to get counseling started. Come to find out he was screening me which is not what I scheduled for! I already scheduled future appointments with them and called to get them all cancelled. Receptionist only cancelled some. Two appts were left in August. I was going to give them a second chance then they sent me an invoice for canceling my appts!? I called to explain my company covers EVERYTHING as I verified with the *** assigned to me from my company to ensure I'm getting the best treatment and that my treatment is going well. This is how they determine to keep working with offices or not. I called my company again because the lady was literally arguing with me saying that my insurance does not cover these expenses because other insurances don't. My companies program is not technically insurance, it's a program that pays for my mental health costs and treatment 100%. *** didn't understand this. I gave her the direct number to speak with my ***. *** never called, instead they harassed me months after telling her I'm not going back and do not want their business. Spamming my email with invoices that went from 150$ to $300 plus. THEN they mysteriously get a hold of my credit card information that was never provided to them nor gave them permission to save on file $300!!! I immediately called my bank explaining everything. This place is shady and has some questionable billing and treatment practices.

My husband and I also fell for their scam. We knew our son had some behavior problems and we were trying to find some counseling to help him. From our first visit ***** said he was 90% sure that our son was autistic. They claim to do testing for Autism and it will cost up to $8000, but insurance doesn't cover it. For a counselor that works with adults and children with Autism, ***** should know you can't scream at an autistic child and expect them to stop their tantrum. I watched him scream at my son to stop. He referred us to a child psychiatrist for my son to be put on medication. This was after we already tried testing with ***** four times. My son was only able to complete the first test. But we had paid almost $5000! Got no answers and ripped off. Tried to get a refund, but was denied because that time was already set aside for my son. Those were rates of a surgeon! To top it all off, this office consists of 3 licensed family therapists. He is not a psychologist, psychiatrist, or M.D., which are the only licensed professionals in the ************** to diagnose Autism. ********************************** has been reported the state auditors office. I'm sorry for whoever else has fallen victim to their scams.

Scam place just out for your money. Charged me $290 for an evaluation where she made me realize, she was new or training or something. She talked about her sister the whole time, never spoke to my son (whos there for the evaluation) and sent me home feeling like Why did I have to pay to sit and have her talk about her sister!? Then they proceeded to tell me they DONT accept insurance even though they have that advertised on their website. Wanted to charge $8k to test my son. EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS? After you just stole my $290? Place is a total scam and itms no wonder the insurance wont work with them anymore! (She told me so) total waste of time, TON of money for nothing, not even a pamphlet or resource sheet NOTHING!! Scammers!! Do not trust them! Parents dealing with special needs children have ENOUGH on our plates.
