I hired a locator, ****, that called PPG Paint Store in or around October 2022, and received approval and permission from ******* **************, store manager #****, for me to place a honor box (candy box) at the Frisco Store on Stonebrook. I placed the honor box in the store and visited frequently until the holidays when I traveled and had a family emergency in January. I returned to the store in January 2023 to check on the honor box/ candy box and was informed by ************************* that his manager, ***************************, told him that he couldn't have it in the store, and when she returned again to the store and still saw it there, she took it and through it away. I asked why I wasn't contacted, and ******* said he didn't look to see if there was a number on the box. I asked him to call ******** in hope that she still had the honor box. He then proceeded to call ******** to ask if she still had the honor box while I was still in the store and left her a voicemail since she didn't answer his call. I left my cell phone number for him to call me upon speaking to her. I didn't hear back from *******, so I called the store and left a message for him to call me. He called and said the honor box was thrown away, then changed his story and said that this was his store, and he threw the honor box away. As well as he did try to call me but the number didn't work. I informed him that the number does work and sent him a screenshot of a text with a missed call from him that same day when he was calling me back but I missed the call due to I was in a meeting. I requested a full refund for $****** due to I had permission and approval to place the honor box in the Frisco store. ******* requested proof of payment of the honor box and I forwarded via email. I received a email from *************************** on 2/1/2023 stating they would not be issuing a refund. I am asking again for a full refund of ****** to replace the honor box/candy.
