      On 11/10/2022 I ***** ********* won a 2007 Nissan Altima on Lso auctioneer from Lw's Towing, upon receiving vehicle I received package for vehicle. Monday morning November 14, 2022 I went to Tax Office in Lewisville,Tx. Upon speaking to a Office Clerk they informed me that vsf is missing notifications to owner address on record and to lien holders. On that same day I went to a different Tax Office in Denton, Tx to receive a second opinion. Upon speaking with an office clerk I was told that I needed the 1st and 2nd notice for the lien and the owner address. I contacted Lw towing and informed them about the missing paperwork that the Tax Office informed me that I need to transfer the title over. Day 2 I was told to go back with no additional paperwork and was informed that there was only one lien holder at the time. I was rejected again on day two at the Tax office in Denton. I contacted Lw towing a second time to explain the situation again. I received some some paperwork from Lw towing though a email. Day 3 I travel again to Denton Tax office for third time and was denied again for exact same reason. They are not sending paperwork out to the right people skipping the correct process

      All certified letters were sent to the correct registered owner at the time the vehicle was impounded. By law,TXDMV Title Manual Chp 23 pg. 38) all we are required to do is notify the person on the MVR at the time of impound...in this case Titlemax put a lien on the vehicle after it was impounded therefore when the customer went to get the paperwork processed the tax office rejected it due to Titlemax not being notified. We have refunded Mr ********* money to resolve this issue and per his request.
