On Thursday, December 7, 2023 After a call 2 days ago to my home warranty company Onegusrd, they sent this company out to repair a bathroom vent. The repair was made, but he made a dangerous mess all over my bathroom. I had to leave before he was finished. When he was leaving, he told my mom to tell me to be careful, because if I walk in the bathroom, it would cut my feet. I was shocked when I got back and heard this! Who leaves that kind of dangerous mess out for others to clean up or step on! Last week, I just paid $300 to have my entire house cleaned for the holidays. My ******************* was out on the countertop, along with my water pic, shower curtain, towels and washcloths my floor rugs and more. I am worried that his mess may have fallen into all of my things, including my toothbrushes, toilet paper and more. I am guessing that this is insulation from the ceiling that he was worried about cutting my feet, but I don't know what it is. I do know it is everywhere on everything! That just is not right! If he was going to make that kind of mess, he could have, put a sheet of plastic over my things or warned me and told me to remove my makeup, towels, shower curtain, rugs and everything else that was about to be dusted, with what I assumed to be insulation from the attic. I just cannot imagine someone doing something so dangerous to someone else.

There was a tiny amount of dust from replacing the vent fan in the bathroom. I talked with her about it and it was a little over blown of the severity of the dust from insulation by the Tech. I reminded all Tech's they are to be using a drop cloth or painters plastic to contain even the very small dust fragments to an installation of all types. I offered her for us to go wipe down the dust fragments but she thanked me for offering and said she already had it done...

    Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: ******* stated in his reply that it was "a tiny amount of dust from replacing the vent fan in the bathroom."

*******, that is responding to this concern, was never at my house and did not see what mess was left behind.

It was condescending, and not taking responsibility for his technician's mistake of leaving behind a dangerous mess.

The repair technician would not have said to my mom, "Be careful going in there, because it could cut your feet" unless he knew the mess he left behind after fixing the bathroom vent was dangerous.

I am Disappointed with the reply and disappointed that ******* would act like the problem was the customer and not the technician's work ethic.

That is exactly correct, I was not there. My interpretation of the debris was gathered from what both you and my Technician said. You did not send any pictures and told me you cleaned it up and appreciated that I offered for us to come back to do it.
