    I hired a mermaid princess through the company. It was an $80 charge to book the princess and then we owed $170 cash when the princess showed up. When they showed up, the man that had been messaging us was already a bit questionable but we were excited to get the show started. He made us pay cash before the mermaid got out of the car, and when she did we saw why. She a was about 60 years old, no teeth with her belly hanging out of her mermaid outfit. We were in shock, they stayed about 10 minutes while I called the company 3 times with no response or them picking up. At that point all the kids were scared and the man was taking pictures of the little girls here, we asked them to leave and we had to take his phone and delete the pictures he had taken. When I contacted the company, they told me I should have contacted them during the party(I called 3 times ) and they were refunding $40 and that he couldnt help me anymore when I asked how he was going to make right sending a crack head and a ********* to my childs birthday. He will not respond now.

    I had a reservation for a character Saturday. Received a text that day from *** due to the actor getting hurt on another gig and asked could I change time from 630 to 6. I told him that would be ok. So the actor gets here around 5:30 and ask for all the children. I told him they are getting out the pool and then have to get dressed. He said fine he would wait. I also mention that the start time was 6pm. He said he needed remaining balance before he could start. I paid him $160 instead of $140 which was the remaining balance after the $75 deposit when booking. The character didnt meet our expectation or didnt provide anything that was on the website. He did the entrance songs and a few more songs. Took some pictures and head out to leave. I stopped him and ask was he atleast going to sing happy birthday. He did that and then left. He didnt perform for an hour he was gone by 6:40, no activities, story time, balloon making, etc was done. This is a big disappointment as I thought the kids were going to be entertained. I know the original actor had to be replaced but this was a poor replacement and to say the less, the actor even went to sit down on the couch. So basically I paid for an actor to show up and play music which was not what I was informed when booking. I reached back out to *** who text me that day and didnt even get a response. I have sent emails and no response. You should be ashamed scamming people. This is poorly handled and not customer service. I need to be refunded my money because I didnt get what I paid for as the actor was there for about a half of the hour.

    This company has failed to provide adequate service. I booked a character (********) for a childs birthday party in 11/25/23. Paid for a character who was scheduled to arrive at an event from 2-3pm. The event space was booked for the party from 1-3. However, I was contacted by the actor who was to perform as the character that she was running late (she called around 1:50pm to say she was in traffic. When asked how far away she noted she was 20 minutes out. At 2:10 the character still hadnt arrived. Finally at 2:40pm, the actor of the company showed up, but wasnt in costume. She took another 5-10 minutes to change explaining that she had a costume malfunction. I was mortified to find that the costume had an eye missing and you could see the person in the costume through the hole. The entire party was put on hold for the character as we couldnt sing happy birthday or eat without her. At this point we were so rushed and frustrated that she was ushered in only for us to sing happy birthday. We paid for an hour a total of $140 to character plus a $75 booking fee. We shouldnt have paid the character but I was not going to create a scene at my childs party. Also it was an issue that shouldve been managed by the company since their employee mentioned that it was a costume malfunction and the employer provided the costumes. The company was unable to rectify the situation only offering a less than 10% discount off of a future booking after reaching out to them numerous times. I spoke with the manager **** who failed to respond to my original calls, emails, and complaints. This company should not continue to do business this way.

    I booked with Party Characters for kids for Sonic the hedgehog to visit my Autistic son on his birthday for March 10th 2023 and they canceled last minute late in the evening today (March 6th 2023). I gave the business a deposit of $75.00 and they haven't refunded my money or agreed to refund my money.

    I hired a character for my sons birthday to arrive at 7pm the character arrived at 8pm and the character costume was not as advertised only thing he did was balloons I contacted the company as soon as he arrived I was told they would return my call within 24hrs I have not heard from them at all I was charged 182.00$
