• Advertising Review:

  BBB promotes truth in advertising by contacting advertisers whose claims conflict with the BBB Code of Advertising.  These claims may come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints, and competitor challenges.  BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers more clear to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements.

  On April 9, 2024, BBB contacted Gold Silver Pros, LLC regarding advertised claims on their website https://goldsilverpros.com.  Their website advertised "We provide a dedicated bulk order section for Gold and Silver where you can benefit from the lowest prices and enjoy free shipping."

  BBB Code of Advertising states despite an advertiser’s best efforts to ascertain competitive prices, the rapidity with which prices fluctuate and the difficulty of determining prices of all sellers at all times preclude an absolute knowledge of the truth of unqualified underselling/lowest price claims.  

  BBB requested Gold Silver Pros, LLC to substantiate the advertisement of having the lowest prices or modify the claim if truthful, that the advertiser will meet or beat a lower price and clearly and conspicuously disclose any material and significant conditions which apply including, what evidence a consumer must present and the terms and conditions are not unrealistic or unreasonable for the consumer.

  Gold Silver Pros, LLC's website states:

  “Only gold and silver safeguard the wealth of honest individuals over time.”
  “I emphasize long-term, cycle investing in the precious metal markets.”

  BBB Code of Advertising states misrepresentation may result not only from direct statements, but by omitting or obscuring a material fact. 

  BBB requested clarification if Gold Silver Pros, LLC provides investment advice to consumers and to provide any copies of sales scripts and employee policies used to provide information to consumers. 

  BBB also requested Gold Silver Pros, LLC to provide clarification regarding their advertisement:
  “Only gold and silver safeguard the wealth of honest individuals over time.”

  BBB requested Gold Silver Pros, LLC to clarify and substantiate the advertised claim and how it differs from other commodities or discontinue the advertised claim.

  As of May 10, 2024, Gold Silver Pros, LLC failed to modify, substantiate, or discontinue the advertised claims.
