My health care information was accessed by this hospital without my knowledge nor my consent. The hospital bill my insurance after I specifically stated that I would like to be listed under self-pay. I was told by the insurance Department of this hospital that they will continue to billed my insurance because they consider my insurance to be good insurance and will not give me the option for self-pay. After I did not give consent for my insurance to be accessed this hospital still billed my Insurance, This hospital violated HIPAA as well as Scammed my insurance by Stating that I gave permission when I did not give permission I constantly stated that I would like to be billed for self-pay and would like for payments to be arranged by me and not my insurance

My husband was admitted last week on Wednesday. We have had nothing but issues with this facility since. Starting with the extremely rude staff answering the phones. Also, I called and left ******* (clinical manager) a message on Thursday requesting a call, as well as the counselor and doctor, with no returned calls. My husband has only seen the actual doctor once during his stay. False information given/document, he was not actively suicidal at intake. He checked himself voluntarily and was told he could leave at any point. That was not the case, he told the ** on Thursday and Friday he wanted to go home, that he felt extremely better. Denied both times. Saw the actual doctor today to be told hey seems like you are doing great, we just need to set up an appt for follow up and get some blood work done because they dont have anyone to draw blood on the weekends. That is a lie, another patient had blood drawn this morning and the lead nurse stated blood is done every morning around 6am. So all of these things could have been figured out Friday so he could be discharged. He is there voluntarily and wants out, this is insurance fraud as well, so I have submitted a case to them as well for this. No one ever told him he had to sign a paper to request discharge, until today, he signed the paper, and the nurse told him he could retract the request before the doctor put him on a 24 hour hold. Guess what happens, doctor put him on a 24 hour hold. Again, insurance fraud, he requested to be discharged. My mother in law sat in the front requesting to speak to the doctor and he refused to see her. There is no LEGAL grounds for a hold to be placed on him. ALL OF THIS IS ILLEGAL!We will be having our lawyer help with filing criminal and civil charges for false entrapment, kidnapping, insurance fraud, and abuse.
