      I was having problems with my neck muscles that caused me to have muscles spasms in my neck. Went to the ********* clinic. They referred me to physical therapy. Went to the Momentum Therapy. There they told me I needed 5 weeks two times a week. They booked me for 6 weeks instead of 5 weeks. They told me I could pay in advance. I was very unhappy with the therapy. They left me alone and no one was with me to make sure I was doing the exercises the right way. I was not getting any results so I canceled the two sessions that I had left. Here I am 3 months later and still not have the $40 I have coming to me.

      My name is ********************* and I am one of the owners at Momentum Physical Therapy. I received the complaint from ************************* and am a little concerned. According to her notes in her chart, ******** did pay the $100 for all her therapy sessions began on 11-07-2023. The doctor ordered 10 visits total and her co-pay was $10 per visit. The 10 visits can be performed any time over a 2 month period per ************** guidelines. ******** did attend 6 visits of physical therapy and while I cannot talk specifically about her physical therapy because of HIPPA, ******** did mention that she made some improvement but not a lot. Not one time during her visit did she complain of not getting the care she needed or wanted. In reading her notes, ******** received one on one care and was only charged for that care because that is an ************** requirement. There were a few times where she was doing some exercises on her own which we encourage to make the patient independent in doing their exercises at home. On those few occasions, ********'s insurance was not charged. ************** made their final payment to us on December 6, 2023. All of her records were finalized in the next few weeks and we notified our corporate office that ******** was to be reimbursed the $40 that was not used. On February 1, **** a check was issued to ************************* (5 days before her complaint to the BBB) but as of today, February 12, ****, she has not received the check. We are calling her every day to see if she has received the check, and she said she has not received it. If she has not received the check by February 19, we will cancel the check and have one overnighted to her the next day in the amount of $40. I wish we could have helped ******** more and know that the therapist she saw has been with our company for 17 years and is probably my most experienced therapist. I hope that if she has any other physical therapy needs, she will consider utilizing us again with a better outcome.
