    When I spent $800 for color matched fender flares, I thought they would match. They didn’t. I thought the flares would fit against the side of my truck. They didn’t. I thought the company would be reasonable. They weren't.
    COLOR: The flares were bluish gray, not magnetic gray metallic. The color is far enough off that everyone notices. Odd, since I wrote “I’m a little nervous that they’re going to be the right color” and sent them a photo of the door tag. When I told them the color was wrong, and after they saw the photos, all Painted Fender Flares said was “we are unable to guarantee a perfect color match”. Given the fact these flares were painted by professionals - not a neighborhood hack working out of their garage - is it wrong for me to expect more?
    FIT: The fit of the flares is absurd, you have to see this to believe it. Imagine looking at 1/4” - 1/2" gaps between the rubber and the body - along the entire front of the flares (both sides). Even after paying more than $300 to a 5-star truck customizing business to install them, my first thought was that THEY did something wrong. They advised it is the quality of the flare that makes them fit this way and they can’t do anything to force the flare to fit on the body. There were gaps along the top edges as well.
    THEIR SOLUTION: Painted Fender Flares replied: “Hi, we apologize you are not satisfied with your item. Your order can be returned to the following address___” That was it. So this is what they’re saying: 1) Eat the money you invested in installation for me $300.00 + two days of rental cars $240.00, 2) Return them: I remove the flares (my time), package them (time and more money) and shipping est. $300.00, 3) Pay a 35% restocking fee, ANOTHER $279.65! and 4) Start the fender flare shopping process all over!
