I am a small business owner in the healthcare field and received a subpoena from TEAM LEGAL for a routine records request. The staff at TEAM LEGAL failed in their due diligence to subpoena the correct provider and mistakenly issued the subpoena to my company. After providing the necessary information, essentially, nothing to produce, I was harassed, stalked, and bullied by TEAM LEGAL & their process servers. I responded to the subpoena as is required and indicated by law. They refused to accept their error. They interrupted my business operations, they bothered other businesses in the same building, and they went to my home. Then, Ms. V********* asked I assist her with obtaining the private and confidential contact information for the person whom TEAM LEGAL should have issued the subpoena to. TEAM LEGAL and Ms. V********* harassed, stalked, and bullied me and my company for weeks because they failed to perform their due diligence and issued a subpoena to the wrong company. Then in an act which I can only describe as an impressive display of hubris combined with incompetence and narcissism requested that I illegally provide private information to TEAM LEGAL about the third party that they should have subpoenaed all along. I did point out that it is unfathomable that TEAM LEGAL failed in their due diligence, issued a subpoena to the wrong company, harassed and stalked me knowing that there was no information to produce, and then asked me to break the law to help them issue a subpoena to someone else whom they should have actually issued the subpoena to all along. All of the above happened approx. 5/2020. Today, Ms. V********* left a negative review on my company's ****** ******* pertaining to this issue citing that since she no longer worked for the company she could leave a review regarding how she felt "displeasure" in communicating with me regarding this issue. Two years later I am still having to deal with TEAM LEGAL and their unprofessional behavior.
