    I was retained by The Hall Law Firm and its owner, Benjamin L. Hall III, to be a medical expert witness in a civil injury case. In my career experience working with over 50 law firms, in my opinion, they were the most insincere and unreliable law firm with whom I have ever worked.

    Expert witnesses are relied upon by lawyers and their clients to support and help prove the vital facts of their cases to judges and juries. Of all my cases, The Hall Law Firm was the only one to not pay my agreed-upon retainer, as per our written agreement, in a timely manner. Further, they were unreliable in answering requests about the delayed payment. Moreover, unlike every other case, Mr. Benjamin Hall did not discuss the case with me or reply to the draft legal report I sent him for comment.

    The Hall Law Firm hired me to supply a report with a very short legal deadline, and they and I signed a contract to do so. I informed them in the contract that I was also on a short deadline to supply the report and would not be available for work for two weeks after the deadline. All parties understood these deadlines.

    Despite this, The Hall Law Firm failed to pay me the retainer before my needed deadline. This, despite multiple telephone calls and emails from me asking about the non-payment. It got so bad that for the first time in over 50 cases, I resigned from the case for cause.

    I would recommend that expert witnesses consider my experience before agreeing to work with The Hall Law Firm.
