      I have purchased a 45QT Ultra Tough cooler from RTIC less than a month ago. I had placed a bag of Ice on top of the cooler (not thrown) and it put a giant hole in the top of the lid. I would consider being able to put a bag of ice on a cooler as normal use, but the manager of the Houston location stated that the warranty would not cover the hole even though the lid was fragile enough for a piece of ice to puncture the lid. I won't be buying any other products from RTIC and I will make sure to warn people of their fragile products.

      I purchased the 32 QT Ultra-Light Cooler. I used one time on a camping trip and came home to find a crack on the inside hinge. I reached out to RTIC who stated the it was not covered under warranty. I will not be purchasing anything else from this company who does not back their products.

      My RTIC cooler just under 2 years old and has been only used on (2) 1-week vacations. The cooler zipper broke in 2 different places on both occasions. A friend also owns an RTIC cooler and his zipper is also broken. We both decided we are going to purchase Yeti from now on, since RTIC doesn't' stand behind their products. Even though the one year warranty has expired, this is clearly a manufacturing defect and they should stand behind their products. I could have purchase 3 less expensive cooler for the price of this one, total waste of money.

      I purchased a 45qt cooler from the dealership I bought my truck from and it will not keep ice more than 2 days, even doing the proper prep, when I contacted them about it they said they only warranty products bought from their website. My brothers $90 ******* cooler works better than mine and has a better warranty.

      If I could give negative stars I would. I bought a 32 quart cooler foe my husband for father's day. We took it on our camping vacation and the thing leaked. I contacted customer service and they told me to do XY and Z to fix it. We'll it didn't fix it. I just spoke with them again and they wanted me to send pictures of it leaking before they would do anything. So I spend 150 dollars on a cooler that doesn't work right and instead of them making it better they want proof that it's leaking. Terrible service Terrible product Terrible company! Save yourself the time and just get the yeti cooler. Foe the extra money you'll get one that actually works

      Horrible customer service! I placed an online order under my name, address and phone number. When the order ended up charging my husband’s company credit card (because he has had one work related item shipped to our home in the past under his name and work phone number, credit card and email), I called immediately to cancel the order. I sat on hold for about 10 to 15 minutes to speak to a representative and when they got on the phone, they told me I couldn’t cancel the order because it had already been packed and shipped. I proceeded to tell them that they charged someone else’s card under my name, they told me that there is nothing they could do to cancel the order and that they couldn’t even see what credit card was charged. Now my husband has to go through the process of filing a fraudulent charge complaint with Visa and deal with a huge headache at work. When I asked the customer service representative to speak with the supervisor, she told me that it would probably take about two days for them to get back to me. I will never buy another Rtic product again.

      Terrible warranty coverage for their products! They won’t replace or repair crap unless you have info on your order number . They don’t just realize their products have their name imprinted on everything. Isn’t that enough verification.?

      I had a very negative experience with RTIC's customer service. I placed an order for a cooler and subsequently saw the pending charge on my credit card. I, however, had not received a confirmation of my order. A few days later I reached out to RTIC to inquire about the order I had placed and was met with very rude customer service. I first used the Live Chat on the website and inquired about the missing order information. The customer service representative took about 15 minutes to respond to me without providing any updates in the meantime. Subsequently, I called the RTIC customer support line and was met with a very rude customer support agent. Ultimately I was told that the order did not process and that I needed to re-order. I then asked for a discount on my reorder as this issue was an inconvenience and I had taken time out of my day to address it. I was then told RTIC would not provide any discount for this inconvenience. I am disappointed with how the customer service representatives handled the situation and that RTIC is unwilling to provide a discount after such inconvenience of having to track down the problem with my order. I will no longer be a customer of RTIC.

      I have not even received my order but I’ve already learned not to do business with RTIC again in the future. On their website they advertise that with a verified ID.Me account, you will receive 10% off your purchase. That’s all it says, doesn’t have any guidelines, restrictions, etc. Yet when I placed my order I received approx. 4.5% off so I made a series of phone calls to inquire. 13 outgoing and incoming in total, 2 of which I was hung up on due to them accidentally disconnecting, but that rep never called back. I was told that only a portion of my purchase was eligible for the 10% off discount, however nowhere in their description, advertisement, or statements does it list what is or is not eligible. So a customer service rep told me just to place the order and then send an email to their support center with a screenshot of my receipt and they would reimburse me the amount that I was owed. Well that never happened. After finally being called back by a supervisor, I was told that unfortunately there was nothing they could do, they understand that their advertisement isn’t clear like it should be, but they would not be reimbursing me any of my money. All I asked is if they could please tell me where I could find or read the restrictions that may apply to their discounted offers, but they could not provide that. It’s not written or explained anywhere other than them just verbally telling me over the phone that the 10% off you WILL receive is actually only going to be 4.5%. For such a big business and such a small amount of money the customer is requesting, you can’t for one second tell me that they can’t do anything. You’d think I was asking for hundreds of dollars to be reimbursed to my account for their incorrect advertisement. Nope, they say there is absolutely nothing that can be done and they’re sorry, but they hope for more business in the future and to have a great holiday weekend! POOR POOR Customer service. I would LOVE to speak to yet another supervisor

      Our RTIC zipper cooler broke, the fabric ripped which prevented the zipper from zippering.
      I contacted customer support and was told because the cooler was a gift and purchased at ****** that there was nothing they could do to help other than tell me to go and try and find a shoe repair company and see if they could do anything. Honestly, I was shocked by how little help they were willing to do.As someone who has many RTIC products and I’ve also bought many for gifts in the past,I would never purchase another RTIC product. Any company that does not stand behind the merchandise is not some thing that I would like to support. I recommend buying a similar item from a different company with better customer service, even if you have to pay a little extra money, it’ll be well worth it.
