In April I called this company because my floors were squeaking and there was issue with leveling. I paid $4,000. They said they could resolve the issue and sent workers to my home. I was unable to communicate clearly with the workers that were sent to resolved the issue due to them not speaking English very well. After the work was done, there were still issues with the floor being leveled and my front door couldn&#**;t closed. I called their company back and they said my 1 warranty was up, and I said that it wasn&#**;t because it was ****** They said they would send someone else to my home to do an inspection, but it was cost me $300. I said that I would not be paying $300 because I just paid $4,000 for the work done.

Power Lift Foundation completed work for Mr. ****** Mode at2260 **********************************************************; ***** on March 16, 2022.  Upon completion, Power Lift mailed a copy of the Limited One Year Warranty to the referenced address on March 23, 2022.  The next contact received from the homeowner was on November 23, 2022, stating he was having issues with the doors since work was completed and issues with floor noises for the last 3-4 months.  At that time we advised Mr. **** that we had not heard from him at anytime since the work was completed about any issues and that his warranty does require he contact ** in a timely manner so that any issues can be resolved.  On November 23, 2022 , Power Lift sent a Warranty Questionnaire along with a cover letter detailing what was needed to complete a warranty inspection.  This letter included the detailed of the $330.00 FUEL SURCHARGE and that the fee and questionnaire must be received in our office the schedule the onsite inspection.  We did receive the warranty questionnaire in our office on December 12, 2023, without the fuel surcharge fee.  As with most companies at this time, Power Lift has implemented a fuel surcharge fee due to rising inflation costs and the price of fuel.  On February 7, 2023, Mr. **** contacted our office stating he will not pay a fee for a warranty inspection.  We did advise at that time that the fuel surcharge fee must be received for us to schedule a warranty inspection and that the fee must be received prior to the warranty expiration date for any repairs to be covered under the warranty.   Mr. **** stated that he would just go with another company.

Power Lift has held to the requirements under the warranty provided.  Our company has an excellent reputation of standing behind our work with an excellent rating since 1986.  We request that any negative reviews attached to this complaint be removed from our record.
