    I signed a contract and provided a 50% deposit on two exterior doors with American Luxury Iron Doors on 2/25/22.

    The doors partial installation later occurred on 5/16/22. During that installation, my newly finished wood floors were scratched and damaged by one of their workers as well as my entry coping was broken. I made an agreement with Aaron (the business's owner) that I would personally handle the floor damage with my previous floor refinisher IF he would replace the front door handles with larger (ie longer) ones. He assured me that he would promptly manage it. He was also aware of the need to seal the exteriors of the doors perimeter (which he had said he would perform) once the masonry work was completed. The rear door also had numerous circular openings in the frame which needed patching. Aaron said he would also install a piece of interior trim to allow my carpenters to trim the interior (the right side of the door was offset 3/4" compared to the left on installation leading to difficulties completing the installation).

    Based upon ALID's assurances to complete the job, I made the final payment to Aaron.

    After failing to finish my door as promised, I left a 3 star review online for ALID. On August 11, Aaron and his father, Alejandro, showed up unaddressed at my home. Alejandro then berated me over the poor review. He made excuses for his son and his company by saying "he's really busy and running two-three companies." He finally left assuring me that they would replace my front door handles (per my agreement with his son) and complete the remaining repairs promptly.

    I have now reached out to both Aaron and Alejandro many times over the past 4 months without them returning to complete their work.
