On 3/16/2023 I had my vehicle repaired at ******************************************************** Repair shop at **************************************************. In two previous interactions with this repair shop, I found them to be honest and trustworthy. However, in this repair of my 2013 Dodge Journey's Electronic Throttle Body Injection Unit and Connector, ***************** shop charged two to three times the area average for this repair. The fair price estimate for this repair for ***************** repair shop ***************) is $510 - $533 (****************************************************************). ***************** shop charged me over $1300 for their repair. Their markup on the price of the two parts was approximately 200% over their wholesale price which is grossly unacceptable. They also charged a "Reprogram" fee of $280 which I am questioning the validity and amount of this charge. My opinion is that ******************************************************** Repair shop baited me in two previous minor car issues where they appeared to be honest, trustworthy, and fair. Then, when a more substantial car issue arose, they grossly overcharged by approximately $800. Their charge of over $1300 is between two and three times the fair price estimate for this work in this area.

Attached is our response and as well as the parts and reprogramming information. Not sure what the best way to include or how it will be uploaded so I did black out some of the information for ours and our customer's protection.

    Kind Regards
