      This is not a review from a customer. This is someone who is upset at an incident that occurred, that they saw on social media, at a completely different Black Tie Moving location with a 3rd party. We have issued a statement and do not condone what occurred as well have taken appropriate action.

      Totally awesome and stress free coming from a 78 year old woman on her own. The guys were SO helpful, friendly and did a great professional move for me.

      The two guys who moved me were great, they were quick but took extreme caution to make sure all my belongings were safe! Worked with *** on the team to get everything booked and paid, he was extremely helpful and always answered my questions promptly!

      Amazing company!! Black Tie is absolutely top notch! This is my second time using them and first time for an interstate move and I could not be happier. They will take excellent care of your belongings and are very professional. Everything was wrapped beautifully to protect and arrived without any damage whatsoever. Highly recommend them for anyone that has had bad experiences with other companies and never wants to go through that again. Also, I have to give special kudos to ****** who was in charge of my move. He was there for us beginning to end!

      *** used this company before several years ago and decided to use them again - booking was good, and the moving team was good overall. 1 major issue though is one of the movers accidentally broke my desk by stepping on one of the legs (L shape desk) and it broke off and took the connectors off with it. I was told to send an email with description of what happened and a picture and I would be reimbursed, desk would be fixed or replaced. Seemed simply enough and great customer service - however - I did as I was told - and was informed by their customer service (3 after my move/I submitted the claim) that they dont cover that type of board/furniture. So, to say Im disappointed is an understatement. My desk is broken during the move and Im just..without a desk? Its my problem to fix? Im told to follow a process and then told they cant do anything? I feel really let down by this company, especially since they could make this right - but are choosing to not do the right thing here.

      They are extremely slow packing and use the most expensive packaging where it is not needed. In other cases they did nothing to protect delicate art work. There seemed to be an overall lack of coordination and team work. They are eay over priced for service delivered and dont do all the things they promise.Two things with this mover, 1. dont use them and if you ignore that, 2 get a binding estimate for a fixed cost move and ask them to insure ehat they pack as many reputable movers do
