      I am rejecting this response because I would like a follow-up call from Legacy Plumbing to express my concern in person. I do not disagree with most of their response and if I can just get a call back from a customer service person, that is all I want in order to accept their response and drop my complaint.       To Whom It May Concern,
      I believe the complaint regarding this matter is invalid. During our initial visit to assess the installation of the automatic shut-off valve, we explicitly informed the client that we are not licensed electricians and that they would need to hire a licensed electrician to install an outlet near the installation site for the device.
      On the day of installation, we arrived to find that the outlet had not been installed. Despite this, we proceeded with the installation of the valve and once again emphasized that the client would need to have an outlet installed for the device to function properly. We adhered to industry standards when installing the valve and temporarily plugged the device into an outlet on the front porch so it would be operational until the permanent outlet could be installed closer to the site.
      Additionally, we offered to return to the home once the outlet was installed to plug in the device and ensure that everything was functioning as expected.
      It is important to note that our invoice clearly outlines that additional charges may apply for power cord adjustments, such as running the cord through a wall or extending the cord beyond five feet. However, the invoice does not include the installation of an electrical outlet, as this falls outside the scope of our services. This is why we always advise clients to ensure that an outlet is installed prior to our arrival to avoid any misunderstandings.
