This business is attempting to charge me and my wife for services that were not provided. My child was enrolled at this daycare, and notice was provided that my child was withdrawing from the daycare. However, this business now claims that I owe for a week of daycare service that was not provided to my child. There is no evidence that my child ever stayed at the daycare during the one week period. There is an agreement that provides the following: "In the event of withdrawal from the program, 2 weeks withdrawal notice is required; your regular tuition charges continue during this 2 week notice period." Neither I nor my wife agreed to pay the the "tuition" for the two weeks, and the agreement does not have a provision that specifically requires payment for services not provided during the "2 week notice period." The daycare has been harassing my wife and claiming that she owes them money, when such is not the case per the agreement terms.

On May 28, 2024, parent notified the school that their child's last day would be June 7, 2024.  Accordingly, the child's place in the classroom was reserved through that expected last day, prohibiting another child from taking the spot.  Therefore, payment for the reserved space is still due.

I am rejecting this response because it purports to interpret the ambiguous contract at issue.  The contract does not state that I must pay for services that I never received.  Please see also my initial message to the business and the relevant attachments included therewith.

We are pulling our son out of the ************** location because we do not feel he is safe in their care. I picked him up the other day and he was playing by the backdoor of the room behind a trashcan. Before he was brought over to me the caretaker said he smelled like f**** and let me know she would change his diaper. She opened his diaper and saw it was not soiled. After letting me know he was clean and fixing his clothes, she said his face was dirty and began to wipe his face. I noticed the rubbish on his face was dried and took her scrubbing to remove it. I felt he was neglected after seeing all this happen. Before handing him over she stated it's important to keep the children clean. After I had my son in my arms, I noticed the strong f**** smell she was talking about. He was allowed to sit in his p*** while it leaked on his clothing and after they changed his diaper they put the soiled clothing back onto my son, which is absolutely sick. He had a clean change of clothing in the room. Is this the case or was the p*** of another child allowed to get onto my son?He developed a stomach sickness a day or two after this.I also want to address the two occasions he had bruises on his forehead. The first time I noticed a bruise I didn't think anything of it. He has not had any falls at home that have caused bruising, but injuries do happen. After the second bump to the head, my wife requested to see the video, since we were told there are cameras when we started. The person she spoke to stated the cameras are live feed only and there is no recorded video. Since he has been there his class has been a revolving door with caretakers. One of these is very unprofessional. Due to this and the incidents mentioned above, we cannot risk the health and safety of our child by leaving him in the care of Country Home Learning Center. Please respond with an explanation as to how this is acceptable in your facilities.
