This law firm is a shady, unprofessional practice. I ended up wasting my time and money.
I had a speeding ticket. When I called the Court to find out what to do to get it dismissed, I was told to pay a $132 fine and take a driving course. The fine seemed somewhat excessive, so I decided to use the services of their lawyer, James ******, to see if the terms could be negotiated since it was my first time ever being pulled over. He advertises himself as someone who saves money for his clients. A literal joke. I paid his fee of $110, hoping he could negotiate on my behalf. A day later, he comes back and says: Great news! I spoke with the Prosecutor and you only need to pay $132 and take a driving course, and your ticket will be dismissed. He claimed this was an amazing deal and I should go for it. Wow, seriously? I already knew that, guess why? Because the clerk told me exactly the same thing when I called, FOR FREE. After multiple attempts to contact his phony practice, I received no answers to any of my questions for weeks. Any time I called or emailed the office, James is always conveniently gone. Only after I threatened filing a credit card dispute did he finally wake up and answer my email. He refused to issue a refund and claimed that he had done all the work. The man did absolutely nothing. The clerk told me that he only filed a letter of representation. Once I found out, I immediately fired him and filled all the necessary paperwork out myself. I ended up paying my fine and taking the course as was originally offered by the Court, plus wasting $110 on his fee.
I want my money back because I did not receive a service that was promised.Business Response

Everything seemed to be going great with my ticket case since it got dismissed and Mr. ****** sent me the dismissal from the prosecutor's office. However, I called the Court and they still show the violation until the Judge signs the dismissal. The Court said it would be another 2 weeks, and I need the dismissal signed now.Mr. ****** also says it will be 2 weeks for the actual paperwork to be processed with the Court, but I need the paperwork now for my work. Thank you for the dismissal but I need proof ASAP.Business Response

Thank you and congratulations on your full dismissal! While we cannot post publicly any details about your case, we can say that it typically takes the judge `-3 weeks to sign a dismissal, depending on the Court's schedule. A copy of your dismissal will be sent to you directly as soon as it's signed. Thank you again, and we will let you know as soon as the Judge signs your dismissal, and we will send you the copy. Hello
I hate to leave this review but I feel I have to as to protect others from what happened to me. I got a simple speeding ticket and hired ***** on to handle it. He had said he appeared in court and told me this multiple times be he actually never appeared. He did not appear but cause he got a DUI and was in an accident and was admitted into an alcohol rehab facility over the times of my court dates. He said he showed up and told me this Information multiple times . The reality and truth is he never did show up and was lying about his appearance for me multiple times. I received a no show In court and warrants were issued for my arrest. I called the courts and spoke to the judge herself and she said he never appeared nor filed to appear due to his disappearance into an alcohol rehab facility and all the way was lying to me as the his client. Truly awful and put me at serious of risk of random public arrest as I am work around law enforcement, completely unacceptable as a professional attorney and honestly unbelievable and behaviour that could possibly be grounds for disbarrment. We all go through issues but if you are struggling this hard with alcohol you should not be taking on clients and misrepresenting them and performing legal malpractice like this due to your alcohol abuse and inability to perform your job , he is actively putting his clients in danger and potentially causing some very serious damage to people's lives because of this, it is truly just not acceptable as a lawyer to do what he did.Business Response

Hello Mr. ****. Our attorney does not lie to people, and the record can support the same. Since we cannot publicly post and case details, please respond back to the last email that was sent. Thank you for your time.

Attorney ***** ****** absolutely lied - you can deny it or lie about it all you want but all of the evidence has been gathered, he never appeared for me, not did he filed to appear for me and warrants went out for my arrest because of this negligence. I have a recorded phone call with the judge herself of the court , going on the record, that ***** ****** did not appear due to his alcohol abuse and being in a rehab facility and he lied to me. That's what the judge said herself on a recorded phone line, your not arguing with me, you are arguing with the judge. Your attorney - ***** ****** didn't show up but said he did multiple times. This is called a lie. He lied to me and caused me to miss court dates and have warrants go out for my arrest all the while he was telling me he showed up despite not doing it. That is a lie. Don't try to use your lawyer lies to weasel your way out of the truth on this one.Initial Complaint

On June 15 I was instructed to pay $150 in order to cover a ticket. issue. On August 30 after reaching out numerous times for an update, I was told that the $150 would cover 1 ticket and they would send instructions on a payment plan. I haven't heard anything back and they have not helped with the issue nor did they provide a refund after requested.Business Response

I paid this guy to help remove a traffic ticket. He said it would take a couple of weeks but it's been months and he hasn't done a **** thing. I want a refund. My license just expired and I can't renew it because of this ticket that this lawyer assured me he would have taken care of months ago! He is a scam and his business should be taken down.Business Response
