    I received multiple calls saying that I was referred by a friend for a free carpet cleaning. When I asked the lady what the catch was, she told me that there was no catch and that they just wanted to spread the word about their cleaning services. I finally agreed to letting them come in and actually got excited about having my carpets clean because they needed it. Well, I quickly realized that I was lied to and that this was simply a demo on selling a product that I did not need. They did not clean my carpets (just one stain). They only cleaned half of my window, 3 couch cushions, my mirror, and a couple of tiles on my cabinet. The salesman would not stop pushing me to buy the product. They stayed for over 2 hours as well, putting me behind on my plans. In the end--I felt like I was pressured into something that I was happily oblivious of until I let go of my better judgment.
