      I AM SPEAKING UP FOR THE DISABLED IN LUBBOCK, TEXAS. MY DAUGHTER IS A HIGH LEVEL SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD. WHOM WORKS AT A COMPANY HERE IN LUBBOCK. BEFORE I FOUND HER A JOB HERE. I HAD TRIED GETTING HER TRANSPORTATION. IT'S ALWAYS HAS BEEN KNOWN FOR CITIBUS TO BE 'THE WAY THAT THEY WE'RE.' BUT, I THOUGHT BY NOW THAT THEY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BETTER IN HOW THEY HANDLED BUSING AND BUSINESS. NOT! MY FIRST PROBLEM WITH THEM WAS WHEN SHE WAS DENIED TO RIDE THE 'CITI ACCESS' DISABLED TRANSPORTATION BUS ONLY BASED OFF OF SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PHYSICAL DISABILITY. I HAD TO COMPLAIN ON THAT. WHICH ME AND HER AT THE TIME DARS WORKER HAD TO EDUCATE MISS ******* ****** ON. THAT A PERSON CAN BE DISABLED WITHOUT IT BEING ONLY PHYSICAL BUT, ALSO MENTAL. THE ONLY WAY I GOT A HOLD OF ******* ****** WAS BECAUSE OF ME HAVING TO CALL ****** ************ OFFICE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT IF I HAD NOT HEARD FROM HER OFFICE. I WOULD BE FORCED TO COMPLAIN TO ADA. SHE DIDN'T CALL ME BACK OR HER OFFICE, AS ALWAYS BUT, SHE GOT ******* ****** TO CALL ME. THAT'S WHEN I FOUND OUT TOO THAT. NO ONE IN LUBBOCK COUNTY OWNS THEIR CITIBUS BUS COMPANY. THAT ALSO LET ME KNOW WHY TOO THEY DO PRETTY MUCH AS THEY PLEASE. INCLUDING, DOING NOTHING AND BEING RUDE! MY DAUGHTER AND I FINALLY RECIEVED CLEARANCE FOR HER TO RIDE THE CITI ACCESS BUS FOR WORK. THIS WAS IN OCTOBER 2021. NOW, WE ARE IN SEPTEMBER OF 2022. SINCE BEEN CATCHING THE BUS GOING TO WORK SINCE JULY 2022. MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN HAVING TO BE LATE, CANCELLED, HAVING TO CATCH UBERS, AND EVEN BEEN IN A WRECK WITHOUT US BEING GIVEN A REPORT NUMBER. NOT ONLY TO MENTION HAVING TO HEAR BUS SCHEDULERS CURSING AT EACH OTHER IN THE ****************** AND BEING RUDE TO *********** I DID A LITTLE ONLINE RESEARCH TO SEE WHOM ACTUALLY OWNS CITIBUS OF LUBBOCK. IT SHOWS A COMPANY CALLED, ' MCDONALD TRANSIT.' BUT, I ALSO SAW CITIBUS STAFF ROSTER. I EMAILED ***** ********. GUESS WHO CALLED ME BACK?? MISS ******* ******* AS I TOLD HER EVERYTHING..STILL IT'S A PROBLEM. READ REVIEWS!
