    I took 7 pieces of clothing (2 ties, 1 black turtle neck, 1 black suit jacket, 1 black **** wind breaker pants, 1 dark blue ******** jacket, and 1 **** white puffy jacket) to the cleaners and now they are telling me someone already picked it up. I did not pick it up. These 7 pieces belonged to my late father in-law who just passed away a week before Thanksgiving. My mother in-law and wife wanted to get it cleaned for their keep sake and memories. November 27, 2024, before 12:50pm: I dropped off the clothes to the cleaners Nov. 29 & 30th: Comet Cleaners sent texts letting me know my orders are now ready for pickup. December 7, 2024 around noon: I attempted to pick up my clothes without the ticket because it was in my other car. The manager told me someone already picked it up without a ticket but knew my name and phone number. I was very confused. She explained, she can show me the video of the person picking it up if I call her back and set up time for me to come back and look.December 11, 2024: I called to speak to manager if I can come by and look. Left a message.December 12, 2024: Manager *** returned my call and said I can come by before 530pm today because it will get very busy. I stopped by around 430pm and looked at the video. But when she showed me the video on December 6th, they guy handed the clerk a piece of paper and the clerk grabbed a bundle of clothes on a hangers. Looks like 6 or 7 bundles of clothes. Way more than my 7 pieces of clothing. The cleaners said there is nothing they can do because the clothes aren't here anymore and someone with my information picked it up. I said they needed to replace the 7 items but they said they don't have proof of what pieces I dropped off. I have the ticket needed to pick up the clothes and it has a bar code. She said the bar code doesn't tell anything.
