      On 1/23/24 RGV Sunshades representative/owner ***** arrived at my House Located in ***********, Tx. and we agreed to replace my sunshade and repaint the metal structure for $1550.00. I gave him a down payment of $200.00 and he gave me a receipt with the expectation of paying him the rest of the funds once the project was completed. A week later ***** called me and said he had the material ready. He returned to my house on 01/26/24 to install, but he said the price had changed to $2500.00. I told him that was not the agreement on the contract and he refused to install and do the work. I told him I would need the refund of the $200.00. He said he would refund the money when he returned to the area. I called him on 1/31/2024 to follow up and he said it would take 2 weeks for him to return the shade and at that time he would refund me the money. I called him again on 1/19/24 to follow up and he said he should keep the money because he spent gas to come to my property to do the work even though that was not agreed upon on the contract. I told him I would contact the Better Business Bureau and file a police report. He said he would refund me the money if I meet him in ******* because he did not have have runs to Los Fresnsos, *****. I called him again on 1/21/24 to meet him in ******* for the refund and he did not answered my call, so I left him a message on the phone. I also Texted him asking him for time to meet and he did not answered my text. As a last resource I filed police report #******** with the Los Fresnos, Tx. Police Officer *. ***** to document the incident. I would like the money refunded, however I doubt RGV Sunshades will do that. Any help with this matter is highly appreciated.Respectfully

      On 4/16/2016 we purchased a canopy for the front of the house . To have shade and avoid my car getting hit with hail. He provided us with a 10 year warranty . Gabe is a guarantee that if anything goes wrong with he would sign it and fix anything. He said we hand the top of line material . The problem is that the bar That goes across from side to side the metal bar has bent. He claimed the warranty was null and void . I explained that was not the case this just recently happened after . Hurricane not strong to cause a bar to bend downward . We called him several times and terribly rude or wouldn’t answer or he would get back to us . I stated that he needed to respond or I would file a complain . So he finally came be still rude told us it would cost 3,000 dollars to redo the whole thing . Which is basically what we paid when we first got it. I proceeded to tell him no where in the warranty does it state due to any other conditions will it be voided . So he lowered the price to 1,900 . I told him it would not suffice . We paid a pretty Penney on it . We trusted him with the warranty and signature . I would like it fixed as the bar can fall on my car .
