***************************** EX-WIFE brought in an iPad for charging issues.  I made it clear to them that, if we open up the device, there is a chance the screen breaks (an unavoidable risk).  His EX-WIFE had a very frustrated conversation with him about whether they should do it or not.  Ultimately, they decided to take the risk so I could open it and potentially figure out the issue.  I ordered a new charging port and completed the replacement.  As I was doing basic testing everything seemed good.  I instructed them to come by and pick up the device.  They came by and brought it back a few days later saying the same issue was occurring.  It should be noted that the first attempt at fixing the problem did NOT yield a broken screen.  I ordered another charging port in case the part was defective (it happens sometimes).  During disassembly this time around the screen broke.  I ordered another screen.  While I was preparing the frame for a new screen (this involves cleaning the metal frame of any residual adhesive with a blade from the old screen so the new adhesive bonds to the frame without any issues) my blade slipped and damaged the battery.  I ordered another battery.  I assembled the device again and it was charging properly.  I put everything back together and did a test on the charging port.  I was able to charge the device up to 80 percent.  I called ***************************** EX-WIFE and she came by and picked up the device, paying for the screen in the process.  Third time around, ************************* came back.  He told me the device was still not charging.  I put it on the charger for him and saw that it was charging so I recommended using a different charger.  I gave him our charger free of charge since I was sure it was working and told him to test it for the day with that cable.  That was the last time I saw **************************  Since that repair for the iPad 11 1st *** Charging port I had three other instances of charging issues with these devices.  It's a common problem that a lot of people bring the device in for.  What I found out was that the device has an inherent board issue that causes the device to charge when the battery is FULLY DEAD but once the device turns on, if the charger is removed and re-plugged in it will not charge again until it FULLY DIES.  I have not taken in anymore of these repairs and refer the customers to board specialists now.  I already sent ************************* a refund, but now he demands a new device.  From what I gather, ************************* took the device to another ********************** shop, our competitor, mind you, and they accused us of using "inferior parts" and "not replacing screws".  They did the same process we did and even charged ************************* with a charging port replacement on the device.  I am assuming ************************* took the device home and realized it still wasn't charging.  When he brought it back they blamed us and gave him a refund.  I can corroborate this information with emails ************************** sent me (see attached).

************************* brought his iPad to us for a charging issue.
We could not fix the charging issue and eventually gave him a refund.  Despite him STILL having our screen and charging port.  We are out upwards of ******* dollars from that repair because of the things we DIDNT charge him for and refunding the things we DID charge him for.
He took the device to another ********************** store where they tried to fix the charging issue.
They could not fix the charging issue and gave him a refund.

Two places with the same result and still, ************************* accuses us of damaging his iPad.  He is currently in the process of suing us and I need to state in this message that he is BANNED from our premises and to not ever return.  We gave him a refund we are NOT giving him a new iPad.  We didn't damage it, the same issues he brought the device in with are the same one's that plague him today.

NOTE: These interactions happened a LONG time ago so I am sorry if not all the details are 100 percent correct but our repair process and the steps we took to fix his device ARE ACCURATE.

    OUR PARTS SUPPLIERS:
    www.mobilesentrix.com

    www.wholesalegadgetparts.com

These are our two MAIN parts suppliers.  They supply parts to over **** stores around the US.  I will not accept inferiority of parts as a reasoning for the device not working because this, empirically is, inaccurate and improbable. WE HAVE NEVER ADVERTISED USING ORIGINAL APPLE PARTS.
