    My daughter was an athlete at pro spirit. A week before the biggest competition of the year, the coaches decided to address an issue supposedly happening throughout the year. Parents were never made aware of the problem. On 4/11 (after practice), the coaches decided to address the issue between my daughter and another athlete. For some reason, my daughter found herself in a situation where she was being aggressively verbally attacked, being accused of bullying, and being a ring leader. My daughter is not a bully but rather a kind-hearted person who cares deeply about a person's feelings. The coaches put my daughter in a situation where she no longer felt comfortable returning to the gym. Rather than apologizing for how the situation was handled, the coach doubled down when conversing with my wife, making matters worse. As parents, we completely understand why our daughter was uncomfortable returning. As a result of this situation, we incurred a $1000 charge for supposedly terminating the agreement. These coaches are adults who put a 16-year-old girl in a lose-lose situation. She missed out on worlds and lost nine close friends because the coaches instructed the team to no longer interact with my daughter. This gym should be ashamed of themselves for how they handled the situation

    Per the communication received in correspondence from the BBB, it states, Please understand that the complaint content and your response may be publicly posted on the BBB web site (BBB reserves the right to not post in accordance with BBB policy). 

    Pro Spirits core client base involves the training and development of young minor athletes with the written consent of their parent or guardian.  With the potential that a minor athlete could be negatively impacted by the communications between parties on public forums (and for that reason solely) Pro Spirit has a strict policy not to state the details of issues related to disputes with parents or guardians that will be posted publicly.  Our primary concern is always our athletes, and we feel that a detailed response could create unnecessary pressure and burden upon a minor and may reveal personal information.  As a result, we are unwilling to share the details of this dispute.  However, we will state that we have communicated on multiple occasions with both guardians of the associated party, we conducted a thorough review, we evaluated all circumstances, we shared the results of our review.  We found no wrongdoing on the part of Pro Spirit or our staff and disagree with the information presented in this complaint.
