    Find another surgery center! In all fairness, the care he received was adequate HOWEVER, after our son’s surgery we received an additional bill for $1,400 that they claim was not covered by insurance. In addition, they billed the insurance company $121,000 for a surgery that lasted just under four hours from check in to check out. We had the procedure pre-approved by insurance and they provided us with an estimate of what was expected to be the out of pocket cost AFTER meeting our deductible, co-pays and whatever else. It is THEIR responsibility to ensure that the estimate is as close as possible and the insurance company provides them with the exact amount that is covered by them and what we would be responsible for. I can understand if it was a couple hundred dollars off but not $1,400! The billing department just said “sorry” and that they had a payment plan if we needed it. NO!! What I needed is a more accurate estimate. It’s like being told that the price of the car you bought is $40,000 but then when they hand you the keys they say you owe another $5,000 for the processing. The total amount billed to the insurance company is ludacris and there are plenty of surgery centers that would not charge nearly as much and thus save you the out of pocket cost for your deductive and co-pay. Avoid this place at all costs!
