  Mishandling of Warranty Claim and Costly Misdiagnosis I filed a warranty claim with Choice Home Warranty regarding water leakage in my home. A technician from Jimmy **** Plumbing was dispatched to assess the issue, I paid a $75 copay to initiate service. Signs of residual water was visible on the garage floor and dampness on the carpet in the master closet. These two areas flank the utility room, suggesting the leak originated near or within that space.The Jimmy **** Plumbers initial diagnosis pointed to a possible under-slab drain line leak. To test this, the technician ran a full washing machine cycle but observed no water surfacing. He advised scheduling a drain pipe scope/inspection using a camera with the proprietor of Jimmy **** Plumbing.The next day, Mr. **** performed a camera scope inspection and reported a leak within four feet of the washing machine drain. He recommended waiting until the issue worsenedciting potential repair costs of up to $8,000since no active leak was confirmed while onsite. I paid $300 for the scoping procedure.Soon after, my warranty claim was closed without further investigation. No alternative explanations were considered by Jimmy **** Plumbing. However, the problem persisted. When a subsequent leak appeared again in the garage floor, I consulted a trusted, independent plumber who accurately diagnosed the issue: the leak was not under the slab, but behind the wall where the washing machine is installed.This proper assessment disproved Jimmy **** Plumbings diagnosis and revealed that the leak could have been fixed for far less expense. It also demonstrated that the original warranty claim was closed prematurely, costing me time, money, and unnecessary stress.I request reimbursement for the $300 scoping charge, as well as a reevaluation of how this claim was handled.

  DO NOT USE!!! He cost us hundreds of dollars, he has lied and cheated **. Called Jimmy Cash, a plumber in ***** for a garbage disposal. Should be a simple thing, but they caused a leak in our under-sink water filter, which sits right next to the garbage disposal. Didnt notice it for a couple days, and water had penetrated and destroyed the cabinet floor. We had to replace the sub-floor and floor in the cabinets. Jimmy tried to blame it on the filter itself, but his guy battered the connections while he was working down there. Weve had several of these water filters (one brand) for over 20 years, and replaced them only when we thought necessary based on age NEVER has one failed. After some back and forth, Jimmy **** said he would refund our money. After repeated promises to issue a refund, he has not. He has ripped me off and Im not happy. This has become a big project to fix, and it shouldnt have happened. When it did happen, he should make it right. Instead, he walks away, leaving me with a mess, a broken water filter (his doing), and a bunch of lies. What a disappointment. There are other plumbers out there! Make a better decision than I did
