    On March 12, 2023 I emailed CPR inquiring about the cost of a screen replacement for an iPad Pro **** in. I received a prompt reply letting me know that it would cost $199 and "the repair takes around 25 mins and comes with a Lifetime warranty with over 500 stores nationwide". I dropped the iPad off a day or so later with them since the price seemed good and 25 minutes repair was great. I was immediately told that 25 minutes was not real and "not sure who told you that " even though I showed them the email. I was told in person it would take a few days since they had to order a part. This was upsetting given the promise made in writing to me but I had already given them the iPad so didn't have much choice. A week later I had heard nothing so I called them. They said the part had not arrived and to "check back in a few more days". A few days later I called again and this time was told the delivery truck had lost the part and to come back next Thursday but they assured the second it arrived it would be done in under an hour. Finally I got a call from them expecting to be hearing it was ready. Instead they claimed my battery was bad. I know for a fact that was not true as I had rarely used it prior to this. I researched this and apparently you can easily s**** up the battery if you install the screen wrong. I mentioned this but was assured this was not the case and I had to pay 100 more dollars for a new battery. With no options and 200 in already I said ok. Finally on April 7, what was supposed to take 25 minutes took 25 days I was told my repair was done. I arrived to see a new screen was on but the home button was broken. Visibly upset at this they offered to give me the battery for free but didn't offer to fix the home button until I left a bad ****** review. I said I didn't trust them to fix the button given they were the ones who broke it. Since then the screen has broken again after a 6 in fall with a case on it so it's clear the repair was cheap.
