    Wish I could leave zero star rating! This company has no knowledge or care of customer service. They treat you with no respect and deny you your lawful rights. All of the documentation needed to prove ownership of vehicle and other documentation needed to get my vehicle released, were in my vehicle. I was denied access to my vehicle to retrieve this documentation and my belongings. This company actively breaks the law and should be fined and shut down.

    On March 27,2022 I was in a small accident on Hwy 380 in Princeton. The Princeton police officer suggested she contact 1st Choice Towing for me, the police had an arrangement with them and there would not be a towing charge. I confirmed this several times, and she assured me it was correct. I was skeptical though.
    The towing service took my vehicle to their lot in Melissa. During the next couple of weeks, I tried 3 times to get my personal possessions out of the car (most importantly prescription glasses). I live 2 hours outside of Princeton and they are only open 9-3 Monday - Friday. Yesterday at noon I was at the towing office and the office clerk would not allow me to get my possessions, she was the only person in the office. She could not leave the office unattended and she could not allow me in the vehicle unescorted. I am age 70 and this whole situation is overwhelming.
    As they have their limitations with their hours of availability they continue to rack up the daily storage rate. I am so disheartened by their treatment and the poor information from the Princeton Police Department. I feel totally violated and taken advantage of. I hope you can investigate to make sure there is not an inappropriate association between the towing company and the police, and help avoid a similar situation with another senior citizen ( or any one else).
