      Hello my name is *************************, I am reaching out today to inform you of the misleading information given to me by the Pure Dental Assistant Academy. Throughout my time period at the academy, I was told as long as I was the top of my class I would receive recruitment within Mint. However, this was not the case. The Pure Dental Assistant Academy is a scam. It cheats hardworking people looking to get their foot in the door of the dental field. I was a top student within my class and that is shown by my grades , hands on skills , and my ability to take constructive criticism. We had a **** Pick day where **** recruiters came in and explained to us how the process of externship works. They all greatly expressed that since were already learning the **** way it would be fairly easy for us to get our foot in the door, gain great success and promotions within the company if we put in the effort as we have been doing considering were the Top **** Picks . After my externship was finished, I felt confident and happy I accomplished something so amazing at such a young age. While there I was able to assist chairside , take dental x-rays , sterilization , and cleaning / setting up and taking down ops. The faculty always complimented me and reassured me that my hands on skills were up to par for a new graduate. So when I received the email that I wasnt recommended for hire , it was a kick in the face. A top student , great grades in class and on my state board exam. Pure Dental Academy is a scam. I worked my **** off just to receive nothing in return. They advertise having a new career and license in 7 weeks, false. I passed my state board exam on May 30th, 2024. I have yet to receive my license or a career. This is unacceptable. I saved every last ***** to pay for school.Having "Job Placement Workshops" where we literally just apply on indeed instead of speaking to actual recruiters.. Using people for their money and time just to not hire them in the long run.
