On 1/23/25 I paid for repairs/parts on my 2016 F150 Pickup truck. The truck was dropped off in November 24 and sat due to backordered parts.Of the total repair bill costing over $5500, $2200 was paid for out of my pocket (not covered by my 3rd party extended warranty), of which $200 was taxes. Some of those costs were unavoidable and valid as they were things that were related to the repairs, but weren't explicitly covered by the 3rd party extended warranty (belts, fluids, etc.) The amount of this was to total close to $500.The service associate, first name ****, informed me that "I needed an entire new intake for the truck", and "that since it was a newer truck, the intake had many moving parts and would require electrical labor/tuning to make it work properly." Under their direct advisory and believing their word in good faith, I agreed verbally to replace the intake, which would be between $900 and $1000 in parts, with a few hour of labor additionally. The intake needed to be removed to replace the other major parts that were covered by the warranty. After getting the receipt and paying to get my truck released, I read the breakdown of the repairs done. The verbiage was unclear, the reasons given were unclear, and the description of why parts were replaced was also unclear. I discovered that $1500 dollars was a mix of parts and labor for the intake. Upon inspecting the new intake I paid for, I discovered that the "many moving parts" was two $60/each vacuum ******** that are attached to the rear of the intake and require a total of 4 bolts and zero electrical tuning to replace it. My grievance is that I was lied to about the parts needed replacement, and then scammed on the labor, both the amount and the reasons, to replace the intake. I am seeking a refund for the $1500. I am willing to return the intake manifold to Toliver ***** the truck hasn't run right since it was returned to me and has less than 500 miles since it was returned to my care.

Mr ***** brought his vehicle in for repairs at our dealership.  He was told he needed to have spark plugs replaced (tune-up) said he would handle this elsewhere.  He declined this recommended service but he approved a repair for a knocking noise in the engine.  It was cam phasers. He was informed before the repairs started that these 2 repairs would be necessary and there could still be an internal issue.  When he brought the vhicle back, it was determined there was an internal compression issue.  A new engine was the suggested route. When a vehicle internal parts start to wear, there is a risk that repairing one component will cause others to begin to fail.  You are adding new optimal parts to worn aged parts.  It is unfortunate but a fact.

During the diagnosis and repair Mr ***** was given a loaner through our company.  He abused our vehicle, taking it out of state after being informed our vehicle could not go out of state.  His extended warranty company did not pay for this, it was a courtesy furnished by the dealership.

There will be no monetary reimbursement from Toliver **** Mineola.

On Nov 4th I purchased a truck from this company. Later that day I noticed it was making a strange sound, I had to wait a couple days to get the truck back to them because of work. When I did they told me they would repair it. After all they do have the "****** Promise", so I patiently waited for them to repair it. Finally the end of Dec on the 28th they told me it fixed. I went and picked it up, it wasn't long after I noticed it was still making noise. I returned the truck to them Jan 8th, would have been sooner but because the holiday and my job. As it is I still ended up missing work waiting on them to give me a loaner vehicle. The vehicle is not even a truck which is what I'm paying for because I need a truck for my work and to pull a trailer that can not be done with a car. I called yesterday and asked about my truck and they told me it was just getting into the shop. They've had two weeks already this time around. Why are they just starting on it? What I want is my truck completely fixed as they promised they would or a replacement truck of equal value of my purchase price around 32k is the loan amount I had to get to cover it. I had the sales person tell me if they replaced the truck I'd owe more because depreciation value of my truck. However it's been in their shop most of the time since I purchased it and supposedly has many new parts it should be worth more but at least my purchase price. I just to be done with them and have a working truck.

I contacted the dealership yesterday asking about my truck.  They claimed to have fixed it,  supposedly it was just a loose heat cover.  Yet somehow it took them two weeks to find that issue.  However when I arrived I asked to take a test drive with one of their employees named **** in the truck with me, and we could both still hear the noise.

So I declined to accept the truck back,  as it has been nearly 4 months since my purchase and the so called "******** Promise" expired at 3 months.  I was told it would be possible to get the "promise" reinstated since my truck has been in their shop for the majority of that time.  However at this point,  I have decided I do not want that truck anymore.  They sold me a lemon and I want it to be exchanged with a truck of equal value of the original purchase price of the truck they sold to me.
