      On January 5, 2025, I stopped at the Morgan Oil Fuel Stop, aka Hop In ***************, to get gas while traveling to MD ******** in *******, **. I filled my 2022 ******** with $44.00 of what was supposed to be premium/super gasoline. At approximately 1.2 miles from the station, my car began to sputter and shake and ultimately stopped. Luckily, we were able to pull off the busy highway before coming to a stop. We had our car towed to the Shreveport Mercedes dealership, the only location where I receive service. The service technician informed us that we had received bad gas, mainly water, and that our entire fuel system would need to be replaced. He stated that he had recently had another vehicle towed from the same area for harmful gas the prior few weeks. The tow truck driver said that he had personally towed approximately 12 vehicles in the last 7 days after getting gas at this station. Due to being a Sunday, I was forced to hire an **** to drive us back to ********* to get another vehicle to make my required medical appointment. I phoned the station's management and was told they knew the premium-grade gasoline tanks had water in them. They stated that they had a sign on the pumps; however, the wind had blown the sign from pump 4, which is the pump that we used. They provided us with numbers to make a claim; however, this has been difficult since they refuse to pay the dealership and will only reimburse us with a receipt. The estimate provided to us by the dealership to completely replace the fuel system in my vehicle is approximately$ ******. Additional costs included the lengthy **** ride, which cost roughly $200, and the price of the tow.

      Good Morning,

      We opened our case #***** on January 8th.  We can not send the claim off to begin processing until we have all required documentation from the consumer.  We reached out to the consumer on January 14th and also on January 28th requesting the rest of the required documentation in order for us to send his complaint to our claims department.  We received more information from Mr. ***** today, February 3.  Once all information is received we will send to the claims department for review.  Once this has been completed, it can take up to 30 days for a claim to be approved of denied.

      Date of Transaction: August 16, 2024 04:15:35 PM Amount I paid the business: $63.31 What the business committed to provide me: 20 cents off per gallon for adding a car wash What the nature of the dispute is: ******** station located at ************************************************************************************** had signs on top of the gas pumps stating 20 cents off per gallon for adding a car wash. I added a car wash but did not get 20 cents per gallon taken off. Also, my carwash code was not legible so I had to go inside ...I explained the carwash issue and I needed the code. He proceeded to tell me the carwash was broken and I would get a refund. I said okay, give me my refund of $9.00. He said (in no so good english) something about my card and a refund. So I gave him my card to refund me and he said it would be refunded to my car automatically...and at the same time, he still had my receipt and was folding it up and like he was going to keep it. I made him give it back so I would have my proof! Blatant lies is all I heard from him because there was NO refund to my card nor did I get the 20 cents per gallon off with the car wash I paid for but didn't get. This is SO unacceptable in so many ways! This business should be ashamed of how they deceive people and try to steal from people. Not only try, but actually did STEAL from me!
