I reached out to glass doctor to get the sunroof fixed. They explained they had to order the glass and it would take 2 weeks to get there. Once it arrived i was called on a friday right before labor day. The receptionist advised they were closing at 4 and had to go in **** to get the sunroof replaced. I went to the appointment at 2:30 and did not leave until 6:30 in the evening. The tech came in saying they were having trouble installing the window @ 4 and should be done in a few mins. They came back at 5:45 and said he did not know how to install it and he was gonna put the old window on and i could come back Tuesday when the owner went in. On the way home (*******) it was raining. The tech said he had installed the window and added painters tape around it with a plastic. While i was driving i heard a big pop well the air had caught the window and it was hanging off halway off. When i arrived home we were soaked wet the window hanging halfway off and i noticed the only thing holding the window was a small clip that was stuck. It had no bolts holding it down. That week it rained so bad it was flooding so i did not take it back until the next week. That is when i dropped it off and in less than 3 mins they called me back and said the sunroof was broken and they couldn't install the sunroof. The sunroof was operating the corect way even before i took it in. They claimed it was already broken which is not true if anything broke it was because of the techs negligence of sunroof installing and not putting the bolts back in. I then explained to **** but he didn't even want to hear what i had to say he said call corporate. I reached out to corporate and they advised i should use my insurance to pay for the damage cause by them and then they would install the glass. I don't believe i should pay for this when they are the ones who damaged it. I was paying full price for the glass because my insurance didnt cover it. The sunroof glass got damaged by a hail storm.
