On 3/2/2023 I reserved a Hotel Room in October of 2023. I booked the room at 10:09 am. Booking # R4050320818. I received an email confirmation. I was checking the confirmation and accidentally canceled the room at 10: 18 on 3/2/2023. I got a cancelation # C4050341803. I called the number on the reservation to tell them I accidentally canceled the reservation. I still wanted the room but they said since I canceled it I would have to pay an additional $723.70 because they have a no refund policy. I only had this reservation for 9 minutes. I have emails to prove it. I think they should honor my reservation.

I contacted you about this company and they sent an email saying I would get a refund. I never got the refund and it has been over a month. I have reached out to them 3 times with no response.

One week before the Christmas holidays, I went online to book a hotel stay at Holiday Inn (documents attached).
I went to what I thought was the holiday inn website, entered in my Capital One credit card information. The total charges for the reservation were inflated, so I did not select confirm charges and left the website immediately after I realizing I was not on the hotel reservation website.

Once again, I did not select confirm reservations and immediately left the website.

I received a conformation email from the booking service(attached) confirming a reservation I did not authorize. Directly after, I received a text message from Capital One asking me to authorize the charges. I selected NO. I then called Capital One and I was assured that I would not be charged for services that I did not authorize.
My credit card company is also refusing to credit my account. This company made an illeagl unauthorized charge to my credit card.

We typed i a Hotel Peabody to book reservations. It directed us to a site that makes you think you are booking directly thru the hotel. We were quoted a nightly stay. Then after putting in credit card for nightly stay, they e mailed us an invoice with bulk "recovery charges" of $457.47. No itemization at all. When we checked directly with Hotel we were told these charges are no where near that. In addition, when checking out hotel still charged us taxes. We were double paying. Was told this has happened occasionally to other customers. When you try contacting them by phone or email, you can not. This is a scam company. After we researched them, we found numerous complaints like ours. How are they allowed to get away with this. It's illegal.

I made a reservation on what looked like the website of the hotel I wished to stay at. I received a confirmation email from a different company - Hotel Values. My credit card was charged an additional $521.80 for "Tax Recovery Charges and Service Fees". On my departing receipt from the hotel, the $521.80 charge did not show up. I called Hotel Values on 10/30/22. I wanted to know (1) what the charges were for and (2) what tax entities the taxes were for. The customer service rep I spoke to would not answer my questions. She only told me that Hotel Values works with many hotels as a third-party business. She suggested that I email Get A Room (apparently a related business) and they will answer my questions. I called Get A Room customer service and the rep gave me the same run around as the Hotel Values rep and would not answer my questions. This morning I sent a very specific email to the address I was given - ***********@getaroom.com. The email was immediately returned to me with the message that it could not be delivered. At this point, I do not seem to have any recourse to contact either Value Hotels or Get A Room to discuss getting my $521.80 refund. The Internet is loaded with hundreds of customer complaints about these two businesses and a class-action law suit was filed against them in 2020. I thought that my reservation was made through the hotel, but apparently it was "hijacked" by Value Hotels and Get A Room. By the way, the $521.80 charge was 49% of the actual hotel bill. These companies are a scam. My Value Hotel confirmation number is RXXXXXXXXXX.

Double charged for hotel booking and called multiple times asking for a refund for the accidental dual booking. After a week, I realized they did not take care of this so I cancelled my original booking as well. I called the hotel in person, as well as this third party. The hotel said they never received the funds of $1059 (times two). However, when I spoke with the third party booking company, they say that they cant reverse the charge because it's "up to the hotel's timeline to release the funds...." The hotel never received the funds. I let the customer service rep know I wanted to speak with a manager - because this was a lie.

I was told by customer service rep that no manager/supervisor was available..... sat on hold... then was told that NEITHER of those charges could be reversed for 5-7 business days - after I waited on hold for HOURS, multiple times, and never spoke to a manager. We're talking about $2200 from my checking account, just GONE. And no supervisor/manager was able to help me understand if an overnighted check or an automatic reversal was an option...... This double charge happened on 10/15. My mortgage is due today - 10/24. So now I will either pull money from other places or incur a late fee due to this company's negligence. As I said, I still have not received a refund for the first reservation. I have called my bank and filed a claim as well - this is an insanely unprofessional way to run a business.

I booked a room at holiday inn express. It said Plainview but it was Texas. I needed Plainview New York. They are refusing to refund my entire amount. It was an error.
