      I rented a vehicle from this company. They took a security deposit of which should have been refunded upon returned of the rental vehicle. Its been almost two months and my security deposit has yet to be returned to my account. Ive tried to contact customer service countless times and they said theyll take care of my refund immediately but that never happened. Im sure Ill never see my security deposit again.I told the company Ill be reporting them and they still didnt care or do anything to resolve the issue. This company is scamming people and if you guys do your research, many people are dealing with the same issues from this company. Theyre withholding customers security deposits!

      October 24 thru October 31, 2024 I rented a ****** 2023 from the ****** location on October 24th to **** for a week. I was at the facility for 2 *** completing the rental agreement and service contract. I received the vehicle at approximately 5:30pm. Before completing the rental agreement I asked the salesman who assisted me with the rental are any maintenance was due while this vehicle is in my possession for one week? He ***lied no. All maintenance for this vehicle was completed and none due at this time or within the week. I completed the return confirmation when I arrived at my destination that night to return the vehicle on Oct 31, 2024. On Wednesday October 30, 2024 the vehicle stalled at a red light and the engine light came on. The power was on but the vehicle would not start. I waited a couple of minutes then the engine started. I drove the vehicle to ********* to have the battery checked. The *** checked and tested battery with a reading of 74%. I drove the vehicle home and did not ***** The next morning the vehicle stopped for more than 30 mins. Called *********** as advised by **** ***. *********** arrived and explained battery is low and ***laced battery. He said if today is the last day of my rental agreement he can tow the vehicle there since I expressed I do not feel safe driving the car. He delivered the car on Oct 31, 2024. I received a bill notification for $500 towing fee $50 cancellation fee and $58 rental fee. I was told I am not responsible for additional fees because all mechanical and towing fees are covered in the agreement. Ucars owes me a $250 deposit. I fulfilled my agreement and paid for the 1 week rental and scheduled the return the same day I picked up the vehicle. I have attached those documents. I will never rent from this business again. I feel swindled and taken advantage of. This is poor customer service. I have contacted ********************** several times and told it will be resolved only to see more charges attempted on my card.

      Im at a wits end with this company at this point. May ***** I brought my vehicle to a vendor they were in business with at the time, called Master Tech in *****. Before any repairs were done, the technician had to get the maintenance request approved by UCars, and within an hour or so he did. He communicated with me that UCars would credit me for the downtime, and to call them to get more information. I called, and I was told by a representative that he submitted my request to his supervisor, and someone would call me back.Finally, last week or so, I got a call back from a representative. He placed me on a brief hold to call Master Techs technician, and when he switched back over he stated that the credit would be applied. Still no credit + late fees.Long story short.. today, its June 13th, and the branch manager ******* has finally reached back out to me. To my surprise he stated that the credit will be applied, when the balance is paid down. Mind you, since May 24ths weekly invoice, I would leave the account balance at $111 (awaiting the account the be credited)My weekly charge is $389 $389/7 = $55.57 x 2 (days downtime) = $111.14 + late fees. Since the week of May 24th, the account has been accumulating late fees on that $111.14, and now the full balance is at nearly $550. ******* is now telling me, in order for the credit to be applied, I need to pay the balance back down to what I initially had it. Conveniently, WEEKS after piling up late fees by the day! Oddly, I didnt get a call from *******. He decided to text me the good, yet, bad news. I decided to call him, and got no answer. So I left him a voicemail, and was completely honest with him. If we arent able to come to a FAIR resolution, I am taking this rental money to a LAWYER for a consultation. This is ridiculous, unethical, and outright disgraceful.
