    We entered into a contract with Doors of Dallas on June 27, 2023 for a replacement of the upper rear glass window pane in the kitchen of our home. Initial installation was unsuccessful on July 24, as the pane cracked during installation. A handwritten, signed note was provided by *** at Doors of Dallas, committing to the reinstallation at no additional cost. A second unsuccessful attempt at installation was on August 15, 2023 and again it cracked during installation. At this time, we were advised they would order a tempered replacement pane to avoid this issue going forward. A voicemail from *** at Doors of Dallas confirming this resolution was left on August 15, 2023, assuring us a replacement had been ordered and install would be scheduled within the coming 2 weeks. We reached out to follow up on the status of the replacement pane on September 11 & 12, 2023 via phone call, and again September 13, 2023 via text message. At this time, via text we received a response from *** that stated Hi ******. Im sorry. Im out of town on a family emergency. Not sure of return date. I can refund ur money or complete on my return. Wich ever u wish. Thanks. Sorry for the inconvenience. *** We responded, Hi ***, Im sorry to hear that. We would much prefer a completed installation. Would it be possible to have it completed by 9/29? Additional follow up was attempted on Tuesday, October 3 with the following, Hi ***, this is ******* at 637 Windsong in ********. I am following up regarding the replacement window installation. If youve already ordered the replacement, we would certainly like you to install it so youre not out any additional and unnecessary loss. Do you have any updates to your timeline please? No response was received to either attempt at follow up. On October 17 our realtor reached out to you regarding the status of the replacement window and did not receive a response. Only after our realtor attempted to retain you for a quote did you respond to his calls.
