    The door-to-door salesman came to my house on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, to sell my wife a termite and pest control services subscription. During the sales pitch, she was trying to manage the dog and our two children (ages 2 and 5) and signed up for service at the time (Account# ******. When I returned home, she told me that their services were month-to-month, the company was local and worked closely with Sure Shot Pest Control (the company recommended by our home builder), and that we could cancel if unsatisfied. I waited about a month after their service without DIY bug spraying with Pestie products, but then I noticed more bugs. We caught a rat in the garage, and I resumed spraying myself in January. I began researching the company today and found out that they're based out of ******, ** (not *************, where I live), they don't work with our builder or **********************, and that our agreement was for one full year (not month to month). I contacted the company by phone *************) on 2-13-2024 around 1235pm CST to discuss these concerns and to request a cancellation of our services but was told that our agreement had an 80% early cancellation fee. ******, I said I wasn't satisfied with the services since I had had to respray because of bugs and wanted to cancel. The phone rep told me that with the early termination fee, I would pay $680 plus tax to get out of the agreement. My wife only signed up because she thought we were on a month-to-month plan, that the company was local to our area (working with the local home builder), and she didn't remember that I spray outside monthly with Pestie products. She was either distracted by the toddlers or misled by the sales associate. I don't appreciate people trying to sell my family things we don't need, especially when I'm not home.

    They keep coming out even though I've requested that they stop service.  Can't cancel and can't get them to go away.
