  It was 82 degrees in the house and the weekend. Needed repairs asap and *** rescued us efficiently without adding on anything unnecessary. He was pleasant and professional, the cost was about what I expected for weekend rescues, and he even did a quick check of the system after the repairs as an added safety measure for no charge. All went faster and smoother than I dared hope. Thanks, *** and Efficient Home Solutions! Youre my new Go-To AC repair pros!

  My AC compressor stopped working due to the capacitor failing. Called the front office to schedule appointment. They said don't quote pricing and just that the trip charge would be $99 (weekday afternoon hours and I'm nearby). I assumed the trip charge would count toward to total repair cost like all the other companies. Front desk told me the technician would call on the way and I can ask about pricing then. The technician called and quoted $289 for capacitor + $99 trip charge, total $388. With 2 small children (1 sick) and 103 degree outside, I really had no choice and had to accept it. The technician was nice and did the job in 15min. He upped the capacitor cost to $349, but waived the $99 trip charge at the end. Like other reviewers, this is a bit of price gouging. The capacitor part is just $20 online. The replacement effort is simple. The repair charge worked out to be 17x the part cost. Owner did call back but was not open to any adjustment to a more reasonable price. Would not recommend this company

  This client system was fixed at a discounted price for the total ticket, he was given a 1yr warranty on the part and he did a have a choice not to accept the price and the technician would have moved on to his next call. We did offer to go out and removed the part if he wanted and he did not want us to do that. either.

  Was charged $594 to replace a capacitor. The trip fee of $189 I agreed to, but $445.36 for a capacitor? Please. When i questioned why so much, the tech told me he put in a "special capacitor that works with all". Last I checked capacitors were like $20!I think this is unscrupulous business practice, and price gouging. *** noticed several other simiar complaints from others especially on yelp and even on BBB review.I just dont think it makes business sense to price ***** and to to run an honest business this way. I definitely won't use them again, and based on reviews I've seen, I don't think they have too many repeat customers. Would definitely NOT recommend them.

  *********************,Thank you for sharing your review of our pricing, how your math is off. It was $149 for the service call and $445 for the capacitor for a total of $594.When we spoke in person over the and I gave you the option of a less expensive service call on a normal business day, you chose the Sunday Late night service call. When the technician shared the price with you over the phone, you had the option to not purchase the capacitor, however you chose to purchase the capacitor and get your tenant up and cooing. I am sorry your normal AC guy was out of town and needed to use a different company. I am sorry your pricing expectation came from a AC that is not available to you 24/7 and on Holiday weekends. I am happy to know that when you called us on Sunday night we answered, we arrived within the window we told you we would and the system was running and cooling off your tenants when we left.

  We bought 3 AC/Heating units for our four-thousand square foot home in November of 2022. The ownerDavidprovided ** with (1) the best personal feeling of expertise among five companies that I contacted and had come out and look, and (2) he provide us with a great rate on all three unitsit was not the cheapest bid, but also not the most expensiveit was right in the middle of five separate bids we were provided. I do my homework, I ask numerous in-depth questions, and had *************** through our home more than twice. He answered every question, provided an expert analysis. I highly recommend Efficient Home Solutions (EMS). We have now been in our home with the three new units for 17 months and we have had no issues with any unit. We have perfect AC/Heat in all three zones of our home. We have bi-annual visits from EHS to check the systems and change the filters. In addition, they look nice on the outside of the home, and you can tell they were installed by a professional. ***** and his team are a joy to work with, and Efficient is a great name for their company.

  We were recommended Efficient Home Solutions by our general contractor during a recent remodel, where we wanted to adjust a vent for a room that was being closed off. ***** and ******, came to the house, listened to our concerns about the quality of our existing central HVAC system and began investigating. ***** noticed that the original HVAC system did not have properly sized return vent volumes, which was causing the unit to not be as efficient. They gave a couple of options for retrofit the existing system, but since the unit was already leaking, we opted for full system replacement with adding additional return ducts. They provided a couple of options for the replacement system manufacturer, but we went with their preferred manufacturer for system replacement. They had additional recommendations to improve the house comfort level including additional attic insulation and installing an attic tent. We went with all of these recommendations. The install went smoothly, with ****** taking time to make sure the work was completed correctly. We have seen great improvements in air temperature for the house and love the new system. Recently, ***** and ****** came to address a concern we had around an imbalanced room temperatures in two rooms, but ***** pointed out an obvious (and free) solution which was to turn on the ceiling fan in reverse to pull heat from a vaulted ceiling. They were willing to research other options if we weren't happy after trying an easy fix. Now our house temperature feels consistent, room to room. From the start, we have felt they heard our concerns, gave honest feedback and provided tailored solutions to meet our needs. We feel like they are partners in helping us solve our problem, and not like they are just trying to make a sale. I would highly recommend Efficient Home Solutions for your HVAC needs.

  Dring was called to fix my noisy, but functioning, furnace. 5 minutes after they arrived they announced that it was a blower and motor that needed to be replaced. Approx. cost *******. Their recommendation was to replace the furnace for around $6000. I said no thanks.I called Efficient Home Solutions on a Saturday at 8am (in advance of the hard freeze). After a talk with owner ***********************, he offered a possible fix. His tech, ***** was at my house at 11am. One hour later it was fixed. $250.00 *********************** was right. **** was on top of it. I'll be back for more from them.Stay away from Dring.
