    I used Newman glass because they are local and didn't have any complaints on the site. Their website says 'Professional Work". I need a double-paned, broken, window glass replaced. As it would take several weeks for the glass to come in, they put in a single pane window and replaced it with the double-paned window when it came in. The total cost was $416.00 dollars. I emailed the owner with pictures and he never replied. The glass is installed at an angle; flush with the frame at one end and gapped enough for a ruler to fit between the glass and frame at the other. They glued in the glass with the glue clearly visible. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

    We apologize for your experience. Due to supply chain failures; estimated deliveries have been far beyond the expectations or of prior business years of all business. As a courtesy we did install a single pane glass so that you and your family would be secure in your home at no cost to you. Please note that when a home is beyond 20 yrs to include the framing of the window unit; the obstacle to replace out of date parts along with substitution of modern parts is not always perfect. As we mentioned upon estimation that a new window with a new framing would be your the best option. We respect your choice in replacement of the glass only and worked diligently to provide you with the best solutions for the situation using the older existing framing. We are sad to hear that the replacement does not meet with the expectations you had imagined.
