    On 1/29/24, my vehicle broke down and would not start. I had it taken to Golden Rule Automotive in *****, ** for evaluation and repair. As you can see from the attached information, Golden Rule performed a thorough and complete diagnosis of my vehicle. The list of items was made available to me by a link in text message. I have included this amended list in the attachments. However, the main issue causing the vehicle to not start was a faulty fuel pump. I elected to have it replaced along with some transfer case and differential service. I decided to wait on the other listed items. The most important item to note indicates a leaking right rear shock absorber. It is the only item mentioned that concerns the vehicle's suspension. Repairs were completed and I picked up the vehicle on 2/02/24. Nothing more about necessary or crucial repairs was mentioned in my conversation with the service advisors. unfortunately I drove away travelling about 10 miles to my home. That is where I discovered the shock mount on the left side rear axle had been broken in 2 pieces. I immediately contacted Golden Rule. They initially denied causing any damage. But after I persisted, they changed position and claimed that the damaged shock mount was included in the initial assessment. I checked the texted list and found that it had been amended to include the damage. There still exists a glaring discrepancy between the final invoice that details all repairs complete and pending and this texted list. I had the shock mount repaired. Included in the attachments is the invoice for that. I feel that a technician at Golden Rule Automotive damage my shock mount. I also feel that this information was intentionally concealed from me. Therefore, I feel that Golden Rule Automotive should be liable for the cost of repair and reimburse me for its cost - $237.99.On 2/20/24, I sent a registered letter requesting this action. To this date, I have not received a response.

    Golden Rule has provided to me a complete refund of he cost to repair the damage. therefore, I am satisfied with this resolution and consider the matter closed.
