    I purchased a set of door panels through one of their suppliers. Once installed there was a 1/4 inch gap on the passenger side door. Coverlay deemed this as acceptable after several more emails between them and their supplier. They finally agree to refund me the money as long as the panels had not been installed and the RMA was only good for one day. Problem is the way to find the product was to install it. So now I am struck with a piece of high price junk.

    Our aftermarket parts do not always fit the same as the OEM or original equipment manufacturer's parts. We do our best to make an affordable aftermarket replacement to the original. We regret that the product didn't meet the customer's expectation. He is free to contact us at 800-633-7090 and we will work with the vendor who sold him the product to allow him to return this item for a refund.

    I ORDERED REPLACEMENT DOOR PANELS FOR MY 1995, F150, TRUCK. RIGHT FROM THE MANUFACTURER
    GREAT LOOKING, PRODUCT. THE PRICE FOR THE DOOR PANEL'S IS WORTH THE MONEY. COLOR GREAT MATCH.
    THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR IS OUT OF SHAPE, (WARPED) AT THE TOP EDGE OF DOOR. I HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING THE PRODUCTION MANAGER TO UNDERSTAND THE PHOTOS I SENT. I EVEN MEASURED, THE GAP, ETC. SENT SEVERAL PHOTOS'
    THE SALESPERSON I HAVE WORKED WITH HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL, AND UNDERSTANDING. SHE IS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE BETWEEN THE PRODUCT MANGER AN ME. I FEEL SORRY FOR HER.

    We regret that you are not completely satisfied with the door panel set and we appreciate your feedback. These are after-market door panels and not OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured parts. Sometimes the fitment does have variations compared to the OEM product as you pointed out. If you would like a refund on these panels, please reach out to us at 800-633-7090.     This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a set of door panels for a 1994 ford bronco and the first issue was the colors they have Available are not even close to the original color. The quality control is terrible. The driver side door panel where the handle comes through the door is way too small and noticeably different from the passenger side, so I am unable to open the door from inside the truck. Neither the distributor or manufacturer will take responsibility and are basically telling me there is nothing they will do to help me so basically I am out almost $*** or I will have to cut the hole bigger myself which will end up damaging the gray paint and show the black plastic underneath so I asked for a bit of touch up paint which they also refused to provide. This company will not stand behind the quality of a product which they made.

    We here at Coverlay® are very sorry the customer was not satisfied with our attempts to remedy his complaint. We have been in touch with the customer on multiple occasions. He purchased this product through a third party distributor so the warranty and return processes have to go through the company he purchased the item from. We are not able to send him touch up paint due to our manufacturing process and this is the same for all customers. We have left the lines of communication open and are still available to assist this customer in conjunction with our distributor to try and resolve his problems.
