  Hired Kitchen Designs by Giovanni to remodel our ******************************** room in January 2023. Our payment & work schedule were set for 5-6 weeks. After 5 weeks of work, it was clear the work completed was not close to keeping up with the 5 weekly payments, thus we did not make the last weekly payment as scheduled. We were contacted by the office and pressed for payment, where we explained our concern about the work not keeping up with the payments. The office said on 2/15/2023 they needed the payment to pay subcontractors and stated, we have everything scheduled to complete your project on Friday, 2/24/23. Not only did they not complete our project by 2/24/23, as of today (21 Aug 23) our project is still NOT completed! When they went past the scheduled completion date, I started keeping track of what days/times Giovannis workers came to our home to work; March ***** hours; April 12 hours; May 16 hours; Jun ***** hours; July ***** hours. This is an average of working 2 days per month in our home. Clearly once we made the last weekly payment, we went to the bottom of the priority list & little to no effort has been made to complete our project in a reasonable timeframe. To make things even worse, when they did show up to work, they did little to protect our hardwood floors in the kitchen. What was a very nice, very few scratches or dings hardwood floor, that is now a total disaster. Giovanni sent a lady our to evaluate the damage and see what she could clean up; she indicated efforts the workers used to remove dripped and/or sprayed paint was wrong and caused more the damage. She also indicted the damage was way beyond her ability to clear up. We never know in advance when his workers will show up, they schedule a date/time, then no show or dont schedule and just call us to say theyll be here in 30 minutes. Included in the project cost was a line item for a project manager, but no project manager has ever shown up to oversee the work.

  Don't let his ads claiming he's honorable because of his military background fool you into using this business for any sort of construction project - I did a kitchen remodel with this company - wouldn't recommend Kitchen Designs by Giovanni to any of my friends - we had to be on top of all the progress, found so many mistakes and problems - design is lacking - if I hadn't had my own ideas it would have been a very difficult process. I was expecting fresh ideas - the owner Giovanni or his team only reached out for my payments - he never came by to inspect the finished kitchen - our project manager was terrible - please look for another company for a kitchen or bath remodel - please don't make the mistake we made by using this company!

  We contracted with Giovanni to remodel a guest bathroom. Their sub-contractors were the best, the issue we had was with the office and Giovanni himself. we had issues from design to completion. Giovanni was supposed to be the ** on this project, and he only showed up three times. Their office provided scheduling software to us, but they rarely entered anything. the project was scheduled to be completed before Thanksgiving and we finally had a useable bathroom before Christmas. I would never recommend these people to anyone. We refused to pay their final invoice because they owed us credit change orders which were not correct.
