On March 11th 2023 I went to the lot in hopes of financing a car which I was led to believe I did. We went home with a ****** Corolla, everything was okay until the next Monday. Then I started receiving calls from the *******, he then tells me that the deal wasnt finalized and that because the vehicle had been in an accident with the previous owner there was frame damage to the car and the bank insisted I had to switch vehicles. Then after spending another day at the lot and switching from the Corolla to a hyuandi suv I was told that was it and the deal was all good. The next day I get more calls from *******, which starts to feel like harassment with the amount of times he started calling. This time they need more information to verify income and residency, which was given to him on March 11th the first day I went in. I sent over stubs, bills for proof of residency, even spoke with my Manager at work. After 3 weeks of back and forth with that I was told the bank couldnt close out the deal and I had to bring the car back. I agreed to bringing the back but because I couldnt come in right then when he asked even tho we agreed I could bring it the next day due to being at work, he had the car towed. I called ******* to see what happened, he blocked my number and I had to call from a different phone for him to pick up. We discussed me coming to pick up the down payment of $2000 since I couldnt finance the car. They then decided that they can keep my money because of towing fees, which makes no sense because we discussed when I would bring the car so it shouldnt have been towed. ******* then proceeded to tell me that I rented the cars so hes gonna charge me from mileage and detail cleaning, which isnt true and it seems like they just didnt want to give me any of my money back. I ended up only getting $1300 back, and no vehicle.
