Statewide Remodeling of San Antonio converted a standard tub bathroom into a walk-in shower in November 2024. From the sales ***** initial visit to the final task, this job was well done. The price was competitive - bathroom remodels are costly, as I discovered. When your bathroom is not available due to remodeling, one realizes quickly after the start-up, that the sooner it's done, the better, and Statewide accomplished that goal too, it was done in two days.Specialists were used for each category of construction needed, that was assuring. I liked the suggestions and tips that the tradesmen offered which made some decisions easier. I was always kept informed regarding the scheduling, fixture details, etc. It was easy to tell that these folks had done remodels like this one many times.I waited several months to do this review as I wanted to be sure that they would respond appropriately had anything gone awry. However, all went well, including the financial incentives.

1 star Signed contract in March 2024. Work completed in October 2024. Every time they said they were through we had to point out unfinished work. Products used are not the quality their sales rep ************* tiles were, they say are, leak proof. When edges stick up and they had to come back and use caulk like seal to fill in the cracks. Could eseverate on more of the problems but I don't want to see them again.

I recently had a walk in shower installed. I could not be happier with the results. From start to finish the work was seenless and professionally done. Communication with the company has been A+.

I do not recommend statewide remodeling. The installation day came and the crew left the shower pan was not leveled correctly. The shower rod scratched a huge path on the new wall because the installer did not care. While demolishing the old shower they dislodged nails in the drywall behind the shower.Although they covered the toilet seat, it was while uncovering it that they broke one of the toilet seat bolts and left me with a dangling toilet seat. They charged me $19k.The installed didn't polish the new glossy walls, nor the new plumbing nor the metal shower handles, so everything was covered in sweaty forearm stains, dirty handprints, boot marks on the shower pan. And they never called back to ask how the job ******* i called them and pointed out these issues. They decided to rebuild the entire shower at no cost to me.The drain was also off center and it did not look pleasing. This dude and the 2 foremen that were there that day, told me that in 8 years of him installing these shower pans, the drain has NEVER been centered. ******* they redid the shower. The new installer actually put in a new floor base, poured concrete, and set the shower pan in the concrete. He even showed me the level. He installed the new walls, but I guess in order to not scratch the wall again, he cut the shower rod just a tad too short so it rattled anytime you touched it or the shower curtain. But I think the later it got, the more in a hurry he was to get done and go home because I was certainly ready for him to leave at the 8pm mark. And because he was in such a hurry at the end, he left a mess. No one bothers to polish the final product. And one of the new wall panels started peeling at the corner to the ********** I called statewide remodeling again. This time a field supervisor came to fix the issues. And it's still a ****** do not recommend statewide remodeling.I emailed them on Monday, today is Thursday, still no reply.

Recently decided to have our bathroom tub converted to a walk in shower. **** from statewide visited our home and provided us with several options and helped select everything we wanted and in the price range we wanted. He was extremely professional. Would recommend you ask for **** as your sales consultant.

Horrible customer service. Promises the world during the initial consult then after they have the deposit they start saying that wasn't included. For example. We had a $50,000 bathroom remodel done and it took about a year and a half to finally get a working bathroom and the craftsmanship is horrible. They told us that painting the bathroom wasn't included, After they told us how much paint and which type to buy. They are one of the worst companies I have ever seen on communication. We would wait a month with no word and would find out that something wasn't available and we would need to pick another option only we would reach out for an update.I would not recommend this company to anyone and the fact that ********** let's them in their stores is concerning. If I was ********** I would distance myself as much as possible from this company.I have a 3 page detailed timeline but it is too long to post on here.

Shady at best. Told us new ordinances for city required shower head and controls should be on opposite walls so we dont accidentally burn ourselves when showering. They ran new water line, moved controls all without a permit. When I questioned it was told it was required. Long story short, we had to get lawyer and they removed some of the costs associated with that and some shoddy work we got credit for. At least my lawyers fees we recouped but the hassle in dealing with them for a simple bath remodel was painful. Phone calls were never answered, no call backs, always the run around. When we refused to pay, or sign off, then they wanted talk. We had them talk to our lawyer and we finally got it resolved.
