      Hospitalized x 2 in April of 2023. BCBS was billed and VA benefits never contacted for community care Auth. In July of 2023 spouse, *******************************, was able to obtain two retroactive community care Auths for the hospitalizations. UH Billing said they would have to reverse the claims to BCBS and refund us. we call every 1-2 months to follow up and are told the account is being reviewed for a refund. It has now been over a year. Our account no longer shows a deductible or copay balance since the billing department obviously billed the VA and was reimbursed, but they also billed BCBS and ourselves, and are not refunding our copay or deductible.

      On December 27, 2023, I got a ****** Monitor at UT Health San Antonio Cardiology. They run their billing for this service through University Health System (UH). Even though I provided with my primary insurance (United Healthcare StudentResources) and secondary insurance (Aetna), they only sent the bill to Aetna, sending me a bill for $839.96.I called UH right away to make sure they had my primary insurance and they assured me they would send this bill to them. I never got an EOB from UHCSR, and a week later I received another bill for $839.96. I called UH again, and they confirmed they had not sent the bill to my primary insurance, and would "flag it for review." Then I got another bill.Since then, I have repeated this process 5-6 times (getting a bill, then calling to give them my insurance, and them saying they would send it in), with no change. Every time I call, I ask if I can have an email or phone call confirming they've sent it in or if I can get a supervisor's email and they tell me this is not possible or that they don't actually communicate with the office that is responsible for sending things to primary insurance. I am tired of getting bills that haven't been sent to my insurance and having no proper recourse or way to hold UH accountable for getting this done. I've attached the most recent bill.

      On 07/26/2023, I went to the walk-in to get antibiotics for a feral kitten bite. The clinic refused to treat me or even give me meds for the bite stating I had to go to ER for a rabies vaccine which another facility gave me antibiotics as my fingers were swollen and leaking liquid and I kept telling them I still needed antibiotics which they refused. I paid a $50 deposit. I was told I could get my money back for wasting my time sitting 3 hours missing work and not being seen so I did. On 07/26/2023 1:11PM. I called the billing department and spoke to ***** who stated it takes 30 days to have the request approved then a check would be mailed. It has now been 2 months and I called and my request is STILL sitting in pending! I want my full deposit of $50.00 ASAP.
