I took my vehicle to the shop on November 10th 2022 to have the parking brake line replaced. When I got it back today November 15 2022 three of my four black rims are scraped and one even has the red paint from the building on it and my front windshield is cracked almost halfway across the entire glass. The company tells me they didn't do it and are not responsible. I just bought this car from ********************* approximately 40 days ago and the rims were certainly not scraped and the windshield was certainly not cracked.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/29/2022

    To whom it may concern,
In response to the complaint filed by ***********************************. I have attached the invoices and inspections of the vehicle in question billed to ******************************  ****************** picked up his vehicle Nov 11th, after taking it for a test drive to verify the repairs. ****************** did not complain of a broken windshield or scratched wheels. He did bring it back for a noise and approved the front suspension strut mounts for additional work. It was after he took possession a second time that he claimed damage was done a day later on Nov 16th. We have asked ****************** to come back so we can inspect the damage claimed, by email and phone. As of this date he has still not come to let us inspect the damage.
I have attached the invoice and inspection report as the vehicle came to us. Attached are the pictures of body damage and wheel damage to the inner and outer portions of the wheels. I also attached the picture of the Camaro with no windshield damage. You will also see a carfax report, the vehicle had a windshield replace 9-26-22. We can see the vehicle was bought around 8-19-22. As you can see from the body damage and chips, they clearly bought the vehicle in an as is condition. ************************* did not make mention that the windshield was just replaced and is now cracked again?
We take all claim to damage seriously as to why we take pictures as the vehicle enters. We do not feel we caused any damage to the Camaro's wheels and the damage to the windshield was an old picture from the previous damage that they are trying to get reimbursed.

I also attached pictures and response to ******'s email.

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes the windshield is cracked by them and yes it has just been replaced by the car dealership we bought it from just a few weeks prior to goose auto breaking it. That's why I'm pretty mad. I told them " it was brand new, how could I have brought it already cracked?"

So I'm not sure how that helps his case. Yes the windshield was new. Which is why it was them that cracked it.

Now today we just found out that the part they were paid by my warranty company to install is not a new part and in fact my same broken part. We could have died. It's the emergency brake cable on a stick shift car.  Now the warranty company will not cover it unless I take it back to goose automotive who defrauded everyone in the first place. So I'm paying $500 out of pocket to have it corrected by a reputable company. I'm out that money as well as the cost of a new windshield which I can't afford so I'm driving my new car around ever since with a brand new but freshly cracked by goose automotive - windshield. And an old brake cable that I paid my deductable for and they stole from my warranty company.

    Regards,
