    After applying for a hybrid job with Y&L Consulting job 9/8, I was contacted by their HR **** informing me that I should get the Signal Messenger App and schedule an interview with Hiring Manager, Mrs. ********* ******. Mrs. ****** introduced herself as the *** hiring Mgr. and texted back and forth with me to get data about me to prepare for an interview but the texting went on and on. One week of training would pay $25.95/hr then the position was to pay $30.17/hr. Benefits were generous and they would send a check so I could buy the necessary equipment through the company they use. By the end of our texting, she asked me for the bank I use. Without an interview scheduled, I received a text indicating I received a good score and was being given the job. She stated I needed to contact her this morning by 9am. As I thought about the whole matter, I realized I felt uneasy about the legitimacy of this opportunity. Even though I found some *********** on the company being in ** as well as on ********, I decided to see if they had a BBB rating. When I read that they werent with the BBB, I called them and asked how Id find out if a company is legitimate. I was told it can be difficult because its possible to make fake websites. Without mentioning Y&L Consulting to him, the BBB *** indicated that theyve been getting such complaints about Y&L Consulting and he concluded by telling me they are running a scam. I told him I was so glad he told me! Needless to say, I was so glad I didnt provide Mrs. ****** with any personal information other than my resume or any bank data other than the bank name. Next, I plan to contact the ************************. Thanks again!
